Reading the title I thought you were going to be eating wings and ribs while riding a horse, that would have been impressive. Another great video my man, thank you!! Hope you and the family are doing well!!
Working in video production for over 6 years, I’d recommend this. Run your yeti directly into your camera. If your yeti uses a xlr connection, get a xlr to 3.5mm jack converter (or whatever your current camera supports) Also, you talked about wanting to have a wider focus range/depth. Look for aperture settings on your camera. Having a higher aperture will increase your depth of field (how much of your frame is in focus) lower aperture will shorter that depth.
Thanks for this Chris, I was hoping to connect my Yeti to the external link on the camera, this I think would be easier than having to sync up the sound every time. Right now I am using a Logitech C920 camera and I run both into my computer. I like the web cam but It loses focus after about 3.5 to 4 feet, not very good in low light either. I really want to step up my game this year, I would love to record in 4k. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge, sometimes I wish some of you guys lived up the street....lol...have an awesome day my friend...:)
Wonderful video Mark. Loved it. It took me back as my Dad was a mounted Policeman here in the UK. He was on Durham Constabulary. A former ,military policeman he decided to join the civilian Police. He loved being on the police horses too, and lucky as not many got to be on the mounted branch. So I grew up with some big ole horses galloping around. Sometimes my Dad and his colleagues would give public displays to show the tricks the horses could do. Great days. Sadly Durham Police don't have the horses anymore, our neighbouring force in Newcastle Upon Tyne still do, due to them having the huge Newcastle United football team, where horses come in handy for crowd control. Your horse rides in other countries sound idyllic, wonderful video my friend as always , loved it.
Hey thanks so much for sharing this Glenn, this was very interesting. I don't think the RCMP ride horses here anymore except for ceremonies and for controlling the odd riot etc. I am sure your dad must have had a lot of stories to tell. Thanks for tuning in my friend, have a great weekend....:)
Howdy Mark. I don't know squat about video. But audio, I know enough to be dangerous. In your, "My Life in Vinyl," video, you mentioned that Kansas recording technique was kind of over compressed and " dead" due to a lack of reverb. I agree you need some reverb in the studio. But your ASMR audio is perfect without it. I have a feeling if you try to combine the Yeti signal and web-cam mic, you'll start picking up the room reverb, and lose the intimacy. One ASMR-tist simply moved rooms he recorded in to a much larger room. Added a pile of ambient reverb and ruined his sound. I really dig your audio. The Yeti is doing a great job. Thanks for sharing your hobbies with us!
Thanks for sharing this info Bill. I don't want to combine both the Yeti and and the web cam mic I just want to have a new cam that I can still use my Yeti with. I like the yeti and if I could just plug it into another camera that would be great. Thanks for commenting, have a great weekend Bill....:)
First! Haha and it’s also my first time commenting. I have most of your videos downloaded because I instantly feel relaxed and end up falling asleep so I forget to comment. Thank you for all you do and the food looks too good✨
Hey Mark, I'd recommend the Sony ZV-E10 as an all around efficient camera... I personally record from that camera and record my audio in Audacity on the PC with the Yeti, then sync the audio in post... If you'd like to reach out for some advice for the logistics and details just let me know and I'd be happy to assist where needed! Have a fantastic day, my friend!
A lot of people have suggested the Sony line of cameras and I have looked at a few on line and I am impressed. I would love to have you tell me more,. am I able to record up to an hour with this camera?.....thanks for tuning in and for sharing this info Matt....:)

Hello Pauline, thanks for your kind words and for tuning in. Greetings to you from Vancouver Island Canada. I hope you enjoy my videos and I thank you for subscribing. Stay amazing my friend...;)
I remember my first experience on a horse as well. It was all good until the horse decided to roll on its back (like a dog does, in a grass lawn). I was HORRIFIED. I was laying underneath the horse as he rolled around to scratch an itch or whatever it was trying to do.
Good grief Kevin I am surprised you are still alive. Have you ever been on a horse since?...thats a very interesting memory, thanks for sharing and for tuning in....:)
Mark you’re too good!! Your ability to retain all this memory and sharing it so vividly and in such movie like sequence is admirable. Keep up the good work, you definitely improve with each video🫡💯🙏🏽 nuff Love from Jamaica🇯🇲

Thanks for the relaxing video Mark! It always makes me happy when I see you uploaded a new video. I would give you advice on the camera but that is not really my area of expertise. However If you are ever looking at a new computer I may be able to help :) Have a good weekend!!!
So I'm assuming that you just plug the Yeti directly into your current camera? What do you plug the camera into while you film? Usually if you use an external camera as your Webcam on a laptop and also use the Yeti as the external mic, the editing program should record both simultaneously when they're both plugged into the computer.
This is what I thought but I have never tried it. I am using a Logitech C 920 webcam but I really want to upgrade. Thanks for sharing this and for tuning in, much appreciated. Have an awesome day my friend....;)
Sitting on a horse can be intimidating especially when they start to move. My mom grew up on farms and she is terrified of riding a horse....Thanks for tuning in my friend...;)
Mark, I fell asleep before I could respond😂 Are you predominantly using the phone as your camera or are you working off a DSLR of some sort (if you can get a Canon or Sony, those are great for youtube). If you clap prior to getting into the show (and cutting it later) it's really easy to sync in Adobe, or, if you want a free alternative, I know DaVinci Resolve does the same sound syncing. You can even do this with camera phone footage. ❤ You say you aren't really techie but you've been dabbling in photography for a dogs age😅 so I have faith
Hey thanks so much Genie, right now I have been using a Logitech C920 webcam, works well but not beyond three feet or so without losing focus. I have been looking at a few Sony cams lately as well as Canon, both seem quite popular. I am glad you have faith in my tech ability, you are very encouraging....thanks for sharing and for tuning in....;)
