Good evening Donna and all at Jordan Fabrics, I think this has got to have been the quickest project that you have done to date Donna and I love it. I am the dessert with the rich oranges and purples, where as my son would most definitely be the sea and sand, as he just loves turquoises, teals and the sands. What stunningly beautiful quilts flower and would be great for a newbie because it's done in the strips with just the one seam and no trying to find just the right seam to unpick to get it right. Also you are your own master in making it to what you like and not set in stone that you must open up at a certain point. Thank you Donna and everyone that makes these videos possible to teach and learn by. Sending crafty hugs to you all from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
Hello! I hope you had a fun filled day! I spent my day sewing with talented ladies on line. Now, I'm going to sit with my hand quilting and watch your video. I hope you have a marvelous week ahead. Thank you for posting this video and for your time.
I hope that you know how beautiful you are as the creator. Aside from the process, I always like to see what colors you've chosen to wear in clothes and nails. You look beautiful in the colors that you're wearing in this video. The work, in itself, is beautiful! You make it look easy!
Love your Bargello and those blues and browns are gorgeous. You are so good explaining on how to quilt thank you Donna. I hope one day your store will open to the public. I am with a quilting group and we want to visit your store. Have a beautiful Day
I always enjoy your content and miss seeing them on a regular basis. In these challenging times, I just wanted to send hopeful thoughts that all is well in your world.
Donna I have so much enjoy how you demonstrates clearly each step of what your working on you are incredible young Lady you make it easy for me you be able to follow you direction thank you so very much for your videos
Beautiful wall hangings and not as much piecing AND free pattern and tutorial. Your silvery hair looks great! And now that I watched most, the detailed instructions of marking the fabric strips and moving the bottom piece up. Your instructions are fabulous.
I have been sewing for years and I am amazed at the small amount of fabric it takes to make these beautiful quilts and you, by far, have THE LARGEST selection of fabric I've seen even locally and I live just outside a town of 500k+ population! I have recently retired and the more of your tutorials I see, the more I want to start quilting. My work surface area in my craft room is limited so this wall hanging quilt seems the perfect starting point! I have recently made a few 60"x 60" t-shirt quilts which were pushing it for the amount of work space I have. That's when I found your how-to video on the basics ( my new favorite term is "stitch in the ditch"!☺️) and am now hooked on wanting to do more quilting! Thanks to you and your family and crew for these great tutorials; I look forward to seeing more!
I have never been a fan of the Bargello, however, you may have just changed my mind. You made this look for friendly in the construction. Thanks for your good teaching techniques.
I find it interesting watching the changes you do with nails, rings, outfits and hair styles and yet your tutorial speaking runs smooth. p.s. also love the quilts
That looks like so much fun to make and I am loving the Bargello quilts. One day I will get around to making one!!! Love the give-a-way quilt with Lucy Jane fabric; I just made a Grandma's Window quilt with that fabric for my mama's birthday, can't wait to get back from longarm and get it finished. :). Thanks for all you do Donna!
I have no idea how you figure these things out, but this is a cool effect! The way you have the quilt looks like waves coming into the shore. Great work!!!
Another gorgeous quilt...........dearly love watching your tutorials.......you are my favorite after all!!! I would love to do a Bargello once I get all the grand and great grandchildren's quilts finished this year. Once again, many many thanks to you for sharing your talent!♥
That fabric gives a real three dimensional look to the quilt. I love the blue and purple one... would be great for someone who loves astronomy or sci-fi.
Love the bargello quilt's but have never being brave enough to make one, I have always taught they are very complicated to make one. I love these Donna makes it look really easy, love, love the colors you used. 🤩 Thank Donna ❤💚💛🧡💙💜. Sending hugs and kisses for your hard work to show us. Thank you. 😘😘
How lovely is that with little fabric. I can see this being done with all kinds of fabric. Best wishes to the winner of this lovely bright happy quilt. Thank you Donna
What a beautiful quilt!! So easy to make! I love it. Your videos are very easy to understand, very specific, and as a retired teacher i’d like to complement you on the fantastic job you do teaching. Thank you for your videos.
Donna, this wallhanging is gorgeous! You are such an inspiration. My question is:how can I expand this to become a king size quilt. Size needed is 118 x 122. Used as bedspread, plus thick mattress. How much yardage required? Thank you for all of your wonderful videos, especially this one!
I really like your videos you’re clear concise love to hear that cutting blade running across the material it’s almost music to my ears❗️ Also have a nice variety of quilts to show and in demo thank you❗️🌹🤗
Been watching you videos on and off for a while. Finally subscribed yesterday as I’ve decided to get back into quilting after a 40 year hiatus. 😮 As such, I’m treating myself like a beginner with simple sewing experience, and your tutorials are spot on for me. I would like to know how to enlarge this quilt to a queen size, if it’s even possible. Yep, the ‘beginner’ wants to go all out. 😅 If you - or anyone else reading this - can guide me, I would be grateful. Many thanks for the hours of enjoyable tutorials you’ve provided. I like to sip a cup of herbal tea and watch them to relax in the evening. ❤
I was at a new quilt shop in our area and she had a really nice collection of this type of fabric! I wondered what to do with it and now l know😁! Thanks Donna for your fabulous tutorials and your generosity🤗👍🇨🇦
This is genius! No waste, nearly instant gratification. You topped yourself once again Donna! Will do the one with the circles. Thank you again for sharing your creativity...
