They always match her project😍
Donna, I want to tell you something. I am a new quilter. I come from a long line of quilters on both of my parents side, but my mom passed away when I was young. What I was left with is some really beautiful heirloom quilts. Lucky me in once sense but no one to teach me. So I have watched a LOT of videos. All the big names on youtube. I love all of the gals I am subscribed too. But I want to tell you that I so much enjoy the pace that you work at. Lets be honest, when you "get it" you..."get it". I can tell you that I enjoy the pace, I mean lets just get to it. Now if I was not an accomplished seamstress in my own right, maybe I would need a slower video. But gosh I love how we just get to it. And I love how you also know when to stop explaining or over explaining. I will be ordering from you shop from time to time because I so want to support you. Not by just watching or sewing along. Your generosity of give aways, even blows my 42 year old son away as he walks through my sewing area. He says, "Mom are they giving away another item?" "How good are these people!". Very good Son, very good.
Thanks for taking the fear, mystery out of this. So great. You are definetly a get it done gal. ....insert big hug right here.
Hi Mary couldn't say it better myself. Just love the pace that Donna teaches. You are so lucky having Jordan Fabrics in the States. I would so love to buy when they have some fantastic precuts by Matt but I'm in the UK and it's so expensive to pay for the postal charges. Its almost double the price. So I buy what I can when I can on line that have free postage. Greetings from London.
Really excellent tutorials
I actually follow you better than written instructions so I appreciate your videos. I am just that type of learner. 😊
So pretty!!! Also, anyone else obsessed with Donna’s Nails? Lol
Always!
Yes!!!
Omg I thought it was just me 😂😂😃😃.
OMGOSH yes! The coordination she gets is so wonderful!
Me!!! They are as beautiful as the quilts she makes!!!
What I like about your tutorials is you are direct and to the point. Often learning a new time saving technique. I retired to Europe and quilt shops are hard to find. Patterns are almost nonexistent. So you have become my teacher. Thank you!
Beautiful jacket.
Good to see how different the quilt looks in each color. Have a great day
Bghghhhhh
Yes, the jacket caught my eye too. Looks wonderful.
I loved the green border better. I absolutely love your videos and instruction, you are a lovely lady.
Love it! I originally wanted the pink border, but now I love the green with pink binding 😂 beautiful quilt!
I thought the same way
I was happy to see the pink used, too; I thought she wouldn't leave it off!
The Green was the right choice!!!! another great delivery!!!! Congrats!!!!
I really like the all green quilt. So calming!
Polly HG I agree!
I love the green quilt!!
Me too.
You make quilting look so easy and your color choices are great...you husband also has excellent choices putting fabric together.
...I just found your videos and have enjoyed watching them. Both you and your husband work very well together.
I love the Tea Time pattern! I just finished sewing the blocks together on the one I'm making. I used a jelly roll I had here, plus part of another jelly roll to make it a bit larger. And NOW I know why I ended up with more of one block and less of the other! But it turned out just fine because I made a few extra strip sets. Tomorrow my husband and I are making a road trip to my favorite quilt shop 3 hours away down in the Amish area of Ohio. I'll buy border fabric and the backing. It's just a day trip, but will be like a mini vacation!
Sounds like heaven to me!
Lovely quilt. And I love the way your son photographs how he shows us the way the seams are laying flat. He gets really close. We'll done.
I also like the green best.
I think this would make a lovely baby quilt in pastel colours perhaps all shades of pink or blue. Just like the quilt with the shades of green.
Thanks Donna.
Oh my word! That pattern is so pretty and it looks simple enough for me to do without too much fear of getting it all wrong. You are such an angel to share the pattern, knowledge, and steps to help others learn. As a newbie to quilting, I want to say a huge thank you for doing this and thinking of others. Also, the free quilt giveaway is gorgeous. I am hoping to be experienced and good enough to be brave and attempt one like that some day. I am not ashamed to say I enjoy watching your videos all day long. I feel like I am learning more with each video, so again, thank you for sharing this with us. Have a blessed day all.
I Ike your comments as you sew
And how you your scissors Are always where you need them thanks for the show kitty
Amazing how correct pressing makes such a difference! Thank you Donna! P.S. Love your "new" hair color!
My eleven year old granddaughter said she wants her room to look like the inside of a fish tank ie lots of turquoise . I think this pattern will be perfect in those great blue greens. Thanks Donna for a great pattern and video. I eagerly look forward to each new video and often watch them more than once.
It is amazing with the blue/greens/aqua. That's what i used. I'm a Caribbean baby so i love the water
@@MegaBenjojo Thanks you so much for letting me know. I'm eager to get at it.
Love your tutorials! Thank you for teaching me so much about quilting and sewing.♥️✨
I have learned so much from watching you sew.
I need a reply can I can this pattern with 9” square ruler
You explanation is so simple, saves hours of work. Thanks Central Coast Australia.
This quilt looks great. But , I absolutely love the green quilt. I’m going to try a single color hue jelly roll. Thanks for the tutorials! They’re great!
I love pink but the green calmed down all the pink. This is fun pattern!
The Green version of Tea Time is Gorgeous, but I'm probably biased, green is my favourite colour. I'll have to try making one in green.
Green is my favorite color also.
LOL! I would have gone with the pink but then again, I am a pink person!!
Thank you Donna. Your hints help us achieve high standards.
Patterns are great but you always set us up for success with all our quilts.
Love this pattern, you don't have to match intersections! Great tip: cutting the border and sewing them to those bias edges. I agree, the green really made the quilt top! BTW: Love your long kimono top!
Love the green quilt the best!
So happy I have got my jordan fabrics fix. Cheers from Australia
Just say down to watch this one again. Simple, pretty, looks great! Own and use the Cozy ruler. Time for this one to go on my list to make and share.
Have to try it! Love it when you assembly the pieces and not to have to worry about the intersection meet
I like the pink better but it’s because I’m partial to pink!
I love the sunflower border too.
Love the green with the pink very pretty.
Thanks for another great video - you are so supportive and encouraging, and always explain why things should be done in a certain way, which really helps me understand. It's fascinating to see the difference the choice of fabrics and quilting patterns make to this quilt - I love the green one most.
The green border looks the best
The green looks great and I love the outer border! I'm gonna need some of that yardage! Thanks for sharing your tutorials!
You are great
Thanks for the very nice sharing
This is a great pattern for a fast quilt! We got twins headed our way! My brain is reeling!
Congrats, Sandra, I got twin grand babies three years ago. They are an absolute blessing!
Sandra Willman , congratulations 🎊🍾🎉🎈, what a blessing!
Sooooooooooo Beautiful .👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hi Donna, I can't seem to locate the pattern on the Pattern's page. Would you mind reloading please? THis is a beautiful quilt and I have just the jelly roll to do it. Thanks in advance.
@@corinac76 Thank you so much.
I just live all your tutorials. I’m 64 and just started quilting this year and you explain everything so well that I don’t feel intimidated at all. I cannot thank you enough for all your excellent explanations as to why you do something the way you do. Thank you hardly seems enough to say but, thank you!!
I can't seem to find the free quilt patterns you say we can download at "PATTERN is here". I would love this one and I had one two weeks ago that I wanted. Please help. I love your videos and your choices.

Yes I too am crazy about Donna ‘s nails. I can’t get mine to grow so finger pressing doesn’t work. I love all her video’s. Keep teaching us Donna. I am watching tea time
Beautiful
Your finger pressing and adherence to grain of fabric when pressing are things I could have used long ago (am 80 now). I use both every time I see now.
Love the blue and white throw jacket .
I liked the green better, too. I think it calms the quilt.
Like them all but the greens are my favorite
I’ve watched your original video maybe a half dozen times because I’m making the Tea Time quilt. Stopped midway...got side-tracked. The instructions you added in this second video will really help. Thank you so very much!
Love your videos. I look forward to every new one. I prefer the pink border.
Love how you 'don't mess around' and just 'do it'. You make me more confident with my skills.
Oooooh, I love the green one!
I made this for my king size bed. I did every middle strip in white which meant that every square either had white on the outside or in the centre. Very pretty
Wow. I love the shades of green. Perfect for my house. Haha. Maybe I give it a go.
I love this! Colors make it pop!..
Using the terms “rows” and “columns” would be very helpful. Love your videos!
Green look a good. Blue would have been great. Love it
I really love the green one.
The green is very pretty but I think personally I would prefer the pink as I think it makes the colors “pop” better! Just my personal opinion! Thanks for all your WONDERFUL videos!
Yes ! I just love to watch n admire her nails with beautiful colours n textures ! Every colour suits her very well !
Hi Donna, thank you very much for your excellent explanations in your videos l am really enjoying them. Yesterday my friend and l started cutting out placemats it was quite fun. Judith
That one looks like a good one for beginners Donna I think I may try it
I agree with the green, beautiful quilt, thank you
Love this tea time quilt. The green is my favorite, for some reason, all of those different shades of green remind me of Ireland - one of the most beautiful, magical places I have ever visited. Will be making this quilt for sure🥰
Dear Donna, thanks for such a great idea to make such a nice quilt!
Your eyes, when you tell the instruktions, are shining like the nice colours, you've taken in the quilt.
It's a lot of fun to watch your tutorials. Thanks for this great moments!
I moved from Central Point, Oregon to the Oklahoma City area 15 years ago!! Miss the trees and mountains! I am excited to see a Rogue Valley business so successful! Thank you for posting
Love the blue nail polish!!!
I am wearing Dashing Dive Magic Press on nails! I had no idea that they could be so fun!
Donna I love how you say Jelly roll
I love this pattern! I have made 6 of these in the past and I cut out strips from my Fassett fabrics at the beginning of the year to make 4 more so I can keep one or two of them. However, with Covid, I haven't started sewing any of them, working on masks for family, friends and neighbors instead. If you haven't tried this pattern yet, do so! It is so fun and goes together quickly. The final result looks so complicated, no one will know how easy and fun it was. Thanks Donna!
Yes, this is my favorite style of quilt - it looks complicated, but is easy to make!
Love Donna’s nails, always something different! Love her videos, learning so much!
I love exactly how you made the tea time quilt. I just love the pink backing and edging. Donna, you are so good at explaining and making the quilts for us to understand. I am new to this kind of quilting and have learned so much from you. And yes, I love your nails too. Thanks so much for sharing with us and for your giveaways. I look forward to your emails and videos and seeing what you are doing next. Keep them coming. Love and Blessings ❤️😘🤗
Hermoso y colorido, amo el verde!?? Cómo todo lo que haces!! Eres la mejor!!!
I love all of your tutorials. I am making a black and white queen size, nine patch with 2 inch squares quilt all by hand (it's my first quilt). When (if ever) I finish I will make your trip around the world quilt. I have learned so much from you and Matt. His cutting tutorials helped me immensely when I made masks. Thank you both so much! Have you two ever thought of designing your own fabric line? Your design skills and Matt's keen eye for color would be dynamic!
We actually have our own first collection that Matt designed called Christmas Blossom. You can see all the prints on our website here: jordanfabrics.com/search?q=christmas+blosom&_=pf&pf_v_manufacturer=Jordan%20Fabrics
They are absolutely gorgeous! You guys are the best!
This would make a great Quilt As You Go quilt.
I’m team pink! I’m glad you used both...they both look lovely. Thank you for sharing your expertise. You’re a fabulous teacher!
thank you donna you are amazing! i'm 12 years old and I am currently making your scrappy table runner and i'm doing it as a quilt!. I got 6 blocks done in 3 days and its so incredibly easy thanks again!
Well done!
I bet it would be pretty in shades of blue.
Wow the trellis is beautiful
Thank you for the pattern and the lessons. I`m a beginner quilter just putting the binding on my second quilt, which is your Balancing Act quilt! `(Great advice to print off the pattern as that as been very helpful to refer to.) It`s my son`s graduation quilt made with sunset coloured batiks, a sand coloured wide flannel backing with a swirly design that I machine quilted with my regular foot doing loose waves every second row. I`m calling it `Sunset on the Beach: A Balancing Act Quilt by Joanna Jordan. Thank you very much for these videos and patterns as they are extremely helpful to beginners like myself. I just got the sewing machine in December and hadn`t sewed since grade 8 in 1974, so seeing a confident quilter like yourself at work everyday is inspirational. Thank you!
I like the bright colors! So interesting to see how different color selections make quilts pop in unique ways 💕
I love it in green.
I love your channel! I've been a subscriber for a few months now and have thoroughly enjoyed the tutorials and the free patterns! I own 2 seasonal jelly rolls - Halloween and Christmas and wasn't sure how to approach quilting them! I am so making the Tea-Time Quilt! Also, it's so awesome to see your family business in action! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and business with us!
I loved the pink with boarder
Happy Day! A new video, new quilt, new pattern! And so very easy and beautiful!!
The green is better. Fun quilt. You explain things so well. Thank you so much.
enjoy your tutorials.they are easy to follow ,and it makes quilting more enjoyable to do..thank you so much for that.I made a quilt like this many years ago for my son,he loved it.
Love her quilts!
This is really a great pattern. I like pink border.
I have been watching your u-tube videos for a couple of weeks now, and taking notes along the way.
Yesterday I had time to get onto your website and print off some patterns. Teatime was one of them . Great colour choices and every colour way looks great. I need to find your triangle that making cutting look so easy. Love your tutorials. Keep them coming.
I am using the Strip Tube Ruler, and it really does make the cutting much more accurate and quick. We sell them on our website here:
jordanfabrics.com/products/cozy-quilt-designs-strip-tube-ruler
I do like the pink border better, but the green looks great too. Good video, thank you.
Donna, you are a very talented teacher! Thank you
I love the green quilt...I think any color family would be beautiful. Thanks, Donna!
Thank you Donna. I am so happy you are giving us a new pattern. I love it. You are awesome.
So bright and cheerful. 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Nice to see the difference in the colour choices, thanks Donna for another great tutorial
Happy quilting everyone
I really enjoyed watching this video. It's good for using up all those leftover strips from other quilts and a great stressbuster after a long day at work... Just sew a few strips and you're ready to go! Thanks, Donna.
Donna, you make it so simple and doable......your enthusiasm and excitement are infectious!!!!
I love that green one!
I love the green best!!
Awesome quilt. Your explanation is so clear. Great video and quilt Thanks
This is another quilt that I must add to my to do list. It looks nice and simple and would be perfect for a mindless sew day. I would have preferred the pink border on the front, but the green looked great. I love the Trellis quilt. I’m going to go and watch that video again. It was one of my favorites. Thank you Donna.
I would definitely have used the pink for the inner border, but I am a pink girl. I think a purple would have looked nice as well. A Christmas jelly roll would make a nice, seasonal throw as well.
What a fast, fun, and versatile quilt. This would look very Zen in beige, white, and gray prints. Thank you.
Oh, I love that green one!
I"m glad you went with green for the inner border. The pink is very pretty, but I think the green enhanced the quilt colors best!
I love the way you teach quilting you are wonderful and I watch your videos every night keep up with the videos and the teaching and again thank you for all you’ve done for people who have a passion for quilting.
