I've been looking for an "all inclusive" makeup kit. I'm a busy RN and carry a make up bag in my back pack. It gets heavy and messy. Wow! I had not heard that Tarte was putting out a beauty book. This is really a nice one too. Everything I have ever bought from Tarte has always been top quality. I'm definitely going to pick this up.

I appreciate you sharing but I won’t buy tarte ever again since they pretty much send wealthy influencers iPads and jewelry and extravagant trips to promote their products. It’s been going on awhile (not just tarte) but as a regular consumer struggling to buy basic things, speaking for myself and I am sure others, and you have lavishness being strewn about to rich influencers, that saying, I won’t buy tarte ever again. I find it disturbing that a brand feels the need to “buy” people and makes me wonder what is wrong with the brand itself. I do appreciate the look you shared and it’s got nothing to do with you but it is frustrating to see. Always love what you share and follow you and just a few people nowadays. Thanks for all you do. ❤
Definitely understand this point of view. I understand the frustration and it just seems kind of out-of-touch with what most are dealing with these days.
Wow! That is disappointing because Tarte products speak for themselves, meaning that the quality of their products is top notch. I do think that cosmetics companies are feeling the weight of a very over-saturated market and some of the big companies have likely lost a lot of business to Indie companies and other more affordable companies. I no longer buy luxury or high end items because I know it's all about the packaging and not about the quality (in most cases). I used to buy a lot of it and over time, I realized I can buy a really, really good lipstick, eye palette, blush, foundation, etc. at a fraction of the price.
@@Diana-yk7sp very true. And it’s wrong for these wealthy influencers to wag it in the face of regular consumers as well. Goes both ways as it certainly doesn’t make anyone want to buy the brand even more and believe me, I am not jealous at all, I don’t need an iPad or jewelry or a trip to some tropical island but it makes me take a step back and shake my head that a company would go to these lengths when they are pretty well established to do these types of things. I can see sending products that they have but extravagant gifts is just too much and unethical to be honest but they won’t get my business.

I agree! Tir Tir sending influencers Birkin bags is one of the most recent dramas. I love Tir Tir but take any video about the product with a grain of salt.

It would be amazing if Sydney Grace or some quality indie brand would do a full face palette. Tarte's blushes and bronzer are okay, but otherwise I find their products subpar.

I love that they did multiple shades! These kinds of palettes have never worked on my brown skin in the past- inevitably the face steps are too light, the concealers are way off. Thankful for the inclusivity here!!

Organize yourself skinny has an olive garden dupe for the Zuppa Toscana soup (potato and sausage) and it is my most favorite comfy cozy soup. I love it!!! High recommend.
This is one of my favorite eye looks on you. Also the lip product looked so good. it’s from a very basic all-steps palette. Must be high quality. I have one of the IT Books and it was not an enjoyable experience

I like that they are doing multiple color options, but it looks like the same colors as the it cosmetics book that i have from a few years ago. It is just not different enough for it to make since for me to get it. Thank you for letting us know about it.

I have one IT cosmetics book, the last one i think. I am not a makeup guru and i dont like heavy makeup but this little book makes me look really good. Somehow all shades work really well and the powder just sets everything nicely. I dont even need a foundation. I dont think i need abother one especially because this one looks very close to mine in terms of color selection
I moved to rural NW Tennessee and there are a few store fronts that advertise that they carry Merle Norman Cosmetics. Did you ever hear of this company? Want to be a guinea pig and try out some of their things?

I love these books. One of my faves is the Woosh beauty books too. Its not as compact as the QVC ones though.

I got some Laura Geller eyeshadows. Generally I have liked her products. These were TERRIBLE..Some of the worst I've ever used! Turns out they were made in China not Italy. I get suspicious of Holiday releases. So many of them are not made like their regular products. I've never liked any of the all in one makeup books. Tarte has definitely released blush books from China in the past.

Beautiful jewelry box. Beautiful look, you do love your mauves. My breast surgery went well ,the tests done on it here makes cancer free now they say 4 weeks of radiation 5 days a week and it's 120 miles one way. Times are tough, thankful the cancer is gone, the lymph node sent out for more detailed testing. Wish I could afford that, it's really nice. And I love regular jewelry boxes.✔️👍💯❗🏵️🤎🍁🍂⭐

There are so many amazing luxury releases, it would be awesome if you could please do a luxury whats worth the price tag video. I loved the Hourglass pallette but also am into this especially if its inculding close to full sized products from the line.

I think this would be great for someone with very little makeup. Otherwise I’m bummed that there are no pops of color or snazzy special shades.
Nothing in this makeup book is catching my eye. I would not get this for anyone.
These seem like such a great gift for a younger person just getting into grown-up makeup. I don't like that the creams aren't covered, though, and I don't know how I feel about supporting tarte anymore. They seem to be doing better on shade ranges, but the influencer trips and gifts are very off putting.
