A reminder that as a fully f2p game, that can be acquired from egs, and the website itself, it was still top 20 for most profitable game on steam last year.

@@rivershen8954 FF14 is the 2nd most popular mmo in the market after wow. Runescape and old school Runescape are really popular as well. Black desert online, guild wars 2, etc.
@@rivershen8954 If you dont play MMOS then yeah, ofc you wouldnt hear from any other, but for any other who plays them knows that wow is the current dead one and has been dying since the last 3 or 4 expansions. BDO is like warframe for MMOS, a diamond that only gets better over time. But apart from it, there are plenty mmos that had been competing fairly well.
I think there just a lot of people in hell divers rn but people still comeback to warframe....

Well every activity I play there are always players doing them aswell so it doesn't feel like the game is dead...
I think it's people who don't play the game are saying that, I always get a full lobby and even in end game has a good amount of people

It's actually even more impressive how good Warframe looks and performs (even though it's pretty buggy) after 11 years. The fact that the game is so tiny in file size compared to something like Destiny 2 is wild to me.
@@thatonepenguinperson618 I mean comparing a Triple A game that's on the verge of dying vs a previously indie now double A studio that is also old, ofc the game will be tiny. Now in terms of performance Destiny is clearly above Warframe, especially when you still have bugs in warframe that are 7YO and still not fixed and a worse netcode but the netcode is another story that DE can't really fix now.
@@xNemesis_Destiny 2 isn’t a triple A game anymore than Warframe is a double A game.. both are up there when comparing them with $70+ games like Skull and Bones. 😂
And in terms of performance, Warframe is definitely the winner.. especially when you take into account that the first 15-25hrs on Destiny 2 is plagued by glitches and application shut downs, and the fact that they never listen to their community.

@@xNemesis_ No I'm sorry Destiny doesn't get a pass on "performance" when they needed to delete entire paid expansions to fix their game. Warframe may be buggy but they never delete content we paid for.
I came back after stopping in 2020, I think i'm gonna pick up the virtual ticket for the Relay, to catch up.
Really loving all the FREE content, especially since i come from Destiny 2. DE definitely deserves a few bucks.

Literally the tennocon tickets went up a hr and then I saw that both of the highest prices on site it was sold out IN 1HR

the only dead thing in Warframe is the freaking conclave they need to make a corpus vs grineer cod type game mode and add a zombies like one against the infested

One Regal Aya is enough for a Prime Distilling Extractor blueprint, which is a fantastic way to get more Orokin Cells than you know what to do with. I'm sittin on 500 right now.

tbh, as far as thrown weapons go, I only use the Limbo Deluxe thrown weapon skin (if I use one at all), its top-tier IMO.
I'm holding off this year since money's a little tight, and I don't need anything in particular from Baro, and just not interested in anything else in the pack

Call me crazy but I quit Helldivers to go back to Warframe
The backpack is such a niche cosmetic, I don't know what to pair it with other than one of the Proto Excalibur skins or something, or Grineer themed skins? Idk, least past years we got an armor set alongside it too. This looks kinda butt, and not the good kind of butt. Hikou skin? Can't even see it.
I mean, you can make the backpack work with your Operator/Drifter for fashion. Don't know if Kahl can wear Syandanas but that could work too. For me it feels more like a Drifter Syandana and I'm down for it

People that say dead game are the same people that turned off cross play lmao. Everybody knows that if you turn off cross play you can't queue with anybody except for other people that have also turned off cross play.
Don't care, I'd play UT2004 on PC (modded) if it was more convenient to set up. Old is gold sometimes, a game is as dead as the individual player imo.

I love warframe and I've been playing it for 10 years now, but I don't understand the prices of prime packs and this ticket, who the hell is ready to pay the price of a new game (£50 for this or upto 100 and.something for prime acces) to get some plat, one frame and cosmetics??? Crazy. I buy some plat every now.and then to say thanks for 10 years, but paying 100 pounds or more is nuts.
Disappointing digital pack this year. I kind of like the syandana, but the rest is pretty meh. Not worth my money.

Considering in January I started playing Warframe for the first time, and I've played Destiny since it first released... I'd say destiny is the dead game

Warframe is a sandbox game where you test out different characters and guns designed as closely to a mobile game gacha system without actually making a mobile game gacha system (Since you can buy the characters, guns, mods, forma, catalysts, resources, XP boosts, resource boosts, arcanes, but there's no loot boxes so technically not a mobile gacha game, just a mobile game shop where the list of things you can't buy for real $ is smaller than the list you can buy with real $)
I've played since beta, I have fun playing it off and on but it's never felt like more than a fun sandbox to mess around and experiment in than a fully fleshed out game.
It's a consequence of there being zero challenge or balance, the game doesn't feel like a game to me and is definitely not rewarding to win. It's rewarding to get the item I want, not beating the braindead activity for the 500000000th time. Imo, that's a massively glaring fundamental problem with the game. But it's fun to check out for a little bit when something new is happening.
