Butker blasted the bishops for closing the churches during Covid and, what do you know, several bishops just seconded the motion. Go figure!
So, with the EU elections scoring big wins for Europe’s populist/nationalist parties - a stinging indictment of Pope Francis the Globalist - is this Reign of Terror finally running out of steam? Francis seems desperate. A case in point: With the world teetering on the edge of war, Pope Francis is putting his paranoia on full display by ordering Archbishop Vigano to come to Rome to face charges of schism. Yes, you read that right! He’s not trying to excommunicate Mr. Ted McCarrick - one of the worst sexual predators in Church history. Nope! Francis is going after the whistle blower.
You just can’t make this stuff up!
And, finally, with nothing better to do, the obsessed (with traditional Catholics) pontiff finds himself at the center of swirling rumors that claim Team Francis is about to launch a “Final Solution” to permanently ban the Latin Mass.
Is there anything to the rumors, and what’s really behind this Vatican witch hunt?

Cardinal Pell had a record of fighting corruption. He was falsely accused and imprisoned in Australia, and was completely vindicated. Yet when he went to Rome, and goes for a routine surgery, he ended up dead. If I were Vigano, I would be very cautious about direct contact with the Vatica establishment.

Just this evening my husband and I were having this discussion - about how the absolute abandonment of the Faith in the decades after the Council seems so incredibly remarkable. My mother is the last of her 8 siblings to remain in the faith and possibly the last of her extended family as well. I'm the last practicing Catholic of my 5 siblings. My brother's oldest son is the only one I know of among my nieces and nephews who has any kind of attachment to the Faith. My husband is the last of his family, though his mother will cross a church's threshold from time to time but his father's family has completely left the Faith. That's an awful lot of people who have lost the Faith and the fact that bishops don't seem interested in finding out why that is, is perhaps even more remarkable. Doesn't it seem so strange that a religion that was able to keep devotion alive during the worst persecutions imaginable would now, suddenly, be incapable of keeping members engaged for an hour (if that) on Sunday? Are we supposed to believe that this has everything to do with modernity and nothing at all to do with the modern revamping of the Mass? Are we supposed to think that this is normal? Hello, I don't think it's normal to lose entire generations and entire families from the Faith.

l know how you feel. l am the only 1 of 5 who was baptized and reimained a Catholic All my sisters were married in the Catholic Church. Their children attended Catholic school and 2 were marrird in the Catholic Church
None of them attend Catholic Church any longer. My parents left the Church also but l made sure they had the Last Rites. Once baptized Catholic always Catholic!
My children don't go to any Church. l can't go as l am 76 and disabled, but l do have a Eucharistic Minister bring me Jesus on Sunday

I had started prayers n Holy Rosary in TLM, here in my Parish N O is horrible n chaotic. Hymns are sung like Pop or Rock n Roll, every time I attend mass it's horrible, there is no veneration or sanctification, just church observed for duties sake. I want Traditional mass to return to our Holy Mass. From India, North East.

I was surprised when people started putting the host in their hand for communion. I thought only a priest was consecrated to touch host. The they had lay women handing out hosts. I changed over to line with priest to take host by mouth. I don't know what to do
May I suggest you attend Holy Mass said by SSPX priests or other Traditional priest.

Today at 2:30 Latin Mass in Va. we were told only 2 more Latin Masses. Then novus Ordo using Latin ad orientum until a new dispensation comes, or doesn’t. Most parishioners said it’s ok to have Latin novus ordo. I suggest Bugnini should be taught in his stone cutter glory. Most parishioners do not know the history of the man who dreamed up the novus ordo. I will not be attending. Latin tradition Mass only for me. No excuses from me covering for the novus ordo. We have just done the summer solstice, Midsummer Eve and Midsummer day, good old traditional pagan-surviving days/events and huge celebrations of families for families together with fanilies. And early this morning, on the vigil of St. John the Baptist, I saw the Tube message that the new pod is coming out on the birthday of St. John the Baptist.
No message concering the pod in my inbox, so I went to the Remnant to check it out. There I read a brilliant article of Jesus sleeping through the storm and I got a key to a project I am working on as Jesus is both Divine and a human.
It was perfect.

After the pod, I noticed that the email notice had arrived. I guess it has to be cleared by the American intelligence screening before it leaves your border and the EU must screen it too.

While I don't agree with everything that his Excellency Archbishop Vigano has stated, he has been CORRECT about a great many things ! Also, I do agree with Vigano, namely that he would be best served to ignore Bergoglio & that crowd of pro-homosexual Cardinals, who surround him.

I spent a winter in Boston, but soon abandoned the cathedral. They have no respect for the Canon of the Mass. They just dive straight in without respect or preamble.
Mercifully, I found the wonderful TLM mission parish of Our Lady Immaculate of Lourdes at Newton. How will they fare now, alas?!

My sister lost our parish Church, no bus service for Mass on Sunday, or Saturday services, for the remaining Church in town, she is elderly and set in her ways as well as not driving. Someone has to pick her and take her to Mass how many people like her. And those in nursing homes but still able to go to Mass if someone would just take them, and other disabled people who no longer have anyone to take them to Mass. The State is not the least bit interested in seeing the people get to Church.
So it’s no longer a praise and worship service. No it looks like a pagan ritual.
Presumably you’re referring to the O’Malley clip of ordination Mass. Looks like a Zaire Rite Mass to me which in no way can be deemed as bad as or worse than a clown Mass. Why does Ml Matt make O’Malley out to be some sort of victim there, he of many sex abuse coverup stories. And why does Ml Matt speak well of Strickland when there are so many pointers to his incompetencies if not downright involvement with irregularities unacceptable in a bishop?

We're all experiencing a great chastisement from God for the innumerable constant offenses against God, and widespread apostasy in the US society, and the world.
The traditional part of the Catholic Church revealed, one of the greatest chastisements God unleashes against His people are bad leaders. They're present everywhere. A perfect snapshot is society in general. Easy to pick countless of them: the cusp of the Church, many in the Vatican, many in church hierarchy, politics, science, education, chief captains in industry, etc.
Pray for a Catholic pope. Pray for a faithful, God fearing pope.
Pray for the repentance and conversion of all humanity back to God.
....and as a footnote, this moment is witness to the wheat and tares prophecy. They will grow together and then the Angels will wield the sickles.

With all due respect to Bishop Barron, he went overboard in his criticism. All ecumenical councils of the Church were FINE except Vatican II. Just look at the fruits of it.

The difference, that he does not say it, is that all the other councils were dogmatic, Vatican II WAS NOT.
I have a little postcard of a painting which hung in St. Patrick’s Church in Edinburgh for a century before being permanently loaned back to Dublin as an important part of Irish heritage : it is Mass in a Connemara cabin. Priest saying mass in candlelit little shack with turf fire and men , women and children kneeling for mass.
Is this how Latin Mass will be said until something changes at the Vatican? Inconceivable at the time this was painted that the Faith would be so cracked and splintered from within…

In Florida a woman tried to get a "cookie" during communion from the chalice and not from the hands of the priest. The priest had the two hands full so he tried to stop the women hand that was crushing the consecrated host and bite her to. Let's pray and fast.

What Bishop Barron has failed to realise is that the current Hierarchy of The Church are on tack to destroy Vatican 1, using Vatican 2 as the ammunition to do so. In fact they want to destroy everything right up to Vatican 2.
They want to reexamine Vatican 2 which was an infallible Council with the fallible Council of Vatican 2 (Pope Paul 6th's own words on Vatican 2).
So It's not the Radtrads as he says who are trying to destroy Pre Vatican 2 Councils , but in actual fact, trying to preserve them by holding on to The Sacred Tridentine Mass (The TLM and sacraments).
So what Bishop Barron is saying is actually an inversion of what is actually happening.
