Hi friends, it's Joey from PBD. Thanks for watching our kitchen remodel video. Leave a quick note in the comments on your thought of what we did here with the kitchen. I love kitchen remodels and this one was a lot of fun to work with. Dont forget to subscribe for weekly videos.
There are free planning tools on the IKEA website. I would also just google IKEA Kitchen and look at all the images there to get ideas. I am also part of some IKEA groups on FB and people are always posting their photos in there. Look up some of those too.
You guys did a great job. I'm hoping you would send me the name of the tile and hanging lights. Where can I buy the lights? Thanks for the inspiration!
I talk about it in this video right here and about how much it costs: There is also a link to it in the description under the video. Follow the link below: ruclips.net/video/k9TGswZW4q8/видео.html
What i like the best about your kitchen videos is that they are for the 90% of us that can't afford to pay 30-40K for pros to do it all for us, and we don't live in mansions, just nice small or mid sized homes. For some un-known reason about 90% of the kitchen remodel vids here on youtube are aimed at a market of folk that probably are rich enough to not even have to do any thinking other than who to hire.
I did an IKEA kitchen by myself, alone, as a single mother in 1991. They didn’t have those guides on top then and I had to build a brace for the upper cabinets so that I could get them up there. I am 5’2”. I discovered a hole underneath the sink cabinet which went clear through to the basement so I had to fix the floor first. I also took down a wall so that I could put in an island and made 2 rooms into 1. I got that out of my system and left all my further remodels to pros. Looks good!
Tatjana, thanks so much. I knew someone could use those cabinets so it was very important to me that we not damage them in any way. I got just as much satisfaction giving the old kitchen to someone as I did building the new kitchen.
Stunning!!!...and very well planed out... I am just finishing my kitchen remodel and man is it a beast?... however it’s coming together... thanks for posting, very helpful!
I'm 100% with you on the microwave. I"m renovating my Scottsdale office and told my designer I didn't want a giant microwave in the upper cabinets... she thought I was nuts. Love the clean look of the kitchen.
Hi Mike. Thanks. It works for me because I am a short person. It may not be for everyone. But yes, like you, I knew I did not want to look at a microwave every time I used my cooktop. Thanks so much for watching.
You did an amazing job. Very nicely done! I remodeled my kitchen in November of 2019, not knowing of course that the pandemic would follow soon and prices would skyrocket! How great was that?! And I started working from home in March 2020, putting my workspace in the dining room off the kitchen, and it’s so nice to have my bright white kitchen with bright blue/green walls surrounding me.
I live in Europe and my friend has her microwave below as well. It’s perfect for the kids to access and use and works for the adults as well. Looks great!
5 weeks? This would have taken us 3-4 months! It was smart to do this while you had not moved into the house yet. Dealing with something like that while managing a family is not fun. This look awesome. You HAVE to be happy to cook in that kitchen. Way to go guys!
I was always thought IKEA cabinets would be garbage. I am happy I was so wrong!!! I am so used to the home remodeling shows saying they cost $40/$60K. You should be proud of yourself. Thanks
I love it! The only thing I'd recommend is to add a nice facing for the end sides of your island! Throughout the video we can see a gap between the panels, by the outlet ( 9:43 ) I imagine it's one of the first things people will see when they're facing the kitchen
Thanks for the tips! I actually have to take those panels off and put them back on closer together so the seem doesn't show up as much. I originally intended for a bookshelf to go there for cookbooks but that would have encroached too far into the dining area. I guess you have to work with the space you have. Thanks for watching.
Very impressive! $18,500, plus the tile work and flooring... that's a lot of quality kitchen for that price! I hope you enjoy it in happiness and health for many years to come.
WOW! This is freaking amazing. The transformation is unbelievable. I love the microwave in the island like that. Great job guys, this really has me inspired.
You did a great job Joey and Tim….I’m a few years late on seeing this but you’ve created yourself a beautiful kitchen. Well done!! You’ve done it all yourselves
Holy Moly, I wish I would have seen this video before we redid our kitchen! Can we just talk about that backsplash?? It screams plant based to me lol, I LOVE the green! I can just imagine accenting with everything fruits and veggies kind of like you did with the lemons and limes. Very well done 😍😍
Crystal, thanks so much for the kind words. I absolutely love how it turned out. In the video, I show that we saw an inspirational kitchen that had that same backsplash in gold. I loved it, but just didn't love the gold. So when we went to Floor and Decor here in Phoenix, they had the gold and a few other colors. As soon as I saw the green, I knew that was it. And, I loved how it turned out. The lemons and the limes are fake and I got them at Target. They look real. I was amazed with them. I love cooking in the kitchen. Its so white and clean. Thanks for watching.
Stunning kitchen! Love the idea of 'hiding' the microwave and toaster oven. Sounds like you took a lot of time really thinking about the best use of space for your family. Love the ipad in the kitchen too, super handy! Love how bright the new kitchen is too :)
Amazing transformation. I love the white surfaces and the backsplash. Posh kitchen with digital controller. I really like the idea of having the microwave hidden on your island.
I love your new kitchen. You chose perfectly for the space. And, I love the laundry room/extension kitchen idea. I have to remodel because of mold under my house. Everything has to be removed and replaced. You gave me alot of good ideas. Thank you for taking the time to video.
Debra, yikes, that is horrible. I hope it all goes well. I put a lot of planning into this kitchen so use that time and plan, plan, plan. Thanks so much for watching.
Wow! When I saw the beginning I couldn’t believe that was your kitchen! You guys did an amazing job! I want to redo my kitchen I my house, but I’m not as nearly as handy as you two. I love the hood over the stove. And the backsplash looks really nice as well. I definitely need to get a bigger sink in the future. I’m glad you have a beautiful kitchen to cook some great vegan meals in ☺️
Love this kitchen and the fantastic use of the existing space. The tile is really neat, nice to see something other than subway tile (which I do like, just getting overdone). I think flowing the cabinets through to the laundry room was a great idea. I’ve been considering IKEA cabinets and this video confirmed they are a good choice for us.
Nic, if you are thinking about doing it yourself, then IKEA is a great choice because of the ease of installation with that rail system that they have. This is my 4th IKEA kitchen and I just loved them all.
@@PlantBasedDads I got a few estimates from kitchen reno companies but I’m wondering if IKEA is a substantial savings. Not sure if you addressed the cost. Also what are your countertops made from? Thanks 😊
Ryan, I planned my kitchen for years before I owned a home. Keep planning and dreaming about it. When it happens you will be ready to rock and roll. Thanks so much for watching.
You do amazing work! You did a beautiful job! I love the over-sized island. I love the backsplash. I love the lighting. I love that you used the laundry too expand storage and workspace. You did great!
THank you so much for sharing all your hard work, we recently stayed in a beautiful Vrbo home in Colorado that had the entire house done with IKEA! The home was also listed on the market for over 2 million dollars, I fell in love with all of the IKEA in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. It amazed me how organized you can be with IKEA stuff! I have had IKEA come out and measure my kitchen and am looking forward to starting my design. Your kitchen is beautiful! Thanks for sharing and inspiring!
Vicki, check out my other kitchen video. Its all about what everything in this kitchen costs. I break it down piece by piece. I absolutely love the organization in the IKEA kitchen cabinets. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Yayyyy so excited to finally see this! Holy moly you put soooo much work into this renovation and it was totally worth it. Absolutely beautiful, practical and awesome. I bet you never want to look at another Ikea product though haha! This got me so pumped for when we finally get to do another renovation... gotta get the new house first though!
Ashley, I actually like building all the cabinets. I got my battery powered screwdriver and all the tools. Im like the little, bald, fat, stark paper white guy on the IKEA instruction booklet!
love this kitchen, space-efficient, cost-effective....gorgeous....and I LOVE the backsplash! Flooring tile is less than half the cost of typical back-splash tiling! Great job guys; congrats!
Hi D D. Thanks so much. It has been a year now and we still love it every day. I did another video on this that talks about how much I spend on this whole kitchen so check that out . Thanks so much for watching.
Thanks Bossladiiee! I like white because I can see if there is any dirt. I know its not for everyone, but it sets me at ease knowing I'm cooking in a completely clean kitchen. I did a cost video on the kitchen too. Check that one out. Thanks for watching.
It's not as good. The Berkey filter gets out many of the poisons that RO systems don't. I am very happy with what I have. But the RO system is a good option for sure. Thanks so much for watching.
I've always thought your kitchen is so pretty but omg, what an upgrade! I agree with not liking appliances on the sink, that microwave placement is awesome! Also a big sink is one of my few non-negotiables if I buy a place, partly for cooking reasons, but also because that's where Bruce gets a bath haha. Leaving open shelving by the door makes a huge difference too!
Fantastic job. We will be remodeling our kitchen and this video is super helpful. Our current kitchen looks much like your before kitchen looked. I was thinking of doing a similar white kitchen and it is great to get an idea of what the result will look like. You are awesome.
So, something I didn't share in that video. That guy who picked up the cabinets had his young son with him and his wife. They obviously weren't rich or anything and they were excited to get this whole kitchen for free. So, that guy hugged me and said "Anytime you need my truck, you call me and I will be here for you". And, his wife came back to my house about a month later with a plate of enchiladas for me. I of course accepted them. I mean, I aint turning down Mexican food, right? Really, they were the nicest people and they sent me photos of the new kitchen that was now in their house. It was all installed and they painted all the cabinets white. Honestly, their new kitchen looked like a million dollars. I am SOOOO thankful I didn't destroy those old cabinets. I get so many comments saying that I should have done that and that I missed out on the best part of the renovation. I usually just delete those comments. But as you already know, I did not miss out on the best part of the Reno, I was right there for it and thinking about it still makes me feel good. Thanks so much for watching.
12:50 you sure got a point there about your new vent hood. About 9 months ago I spent over $600 on an over the range micro which vents to the outside, but it sticks out real far and I did not perceive that would be an issue until I mounted it, and shortly after hit my head on it 2x walking thru the nearby doorway:) It could be mounted inside some custom cabinet though, even though it was intended for over the range, not impossible if you are creative and think thru it.
Kitchen came out amazing, getting ready to purchase a house and was looking for kitchen remodel on a budget and love what you did. Always said that i wanted a IKEA kitchen and now am sure going with IKEA. wonderful job.
The IKEA kitchen system is totally made for DIYers. If you are able to build the cabinets yourself and hang them on the wall, you can save a ton of money. I just contracted out the counter tops.
Congratulations! You did a beautiful job of planning and execution. I am impressed with how good the Ikea cabinets look - you have given me some ideas!
I loooove your new kitchen...it's so beautiful!!! Your new kitchen is, literally, how I want my kitchen to look. I wish my husband and I could perform such work🤭 How did you learn to remodel a kitchen?
HI Grace. Thank you so much!! The IKEA kitchens are made for people to do themselves. If you do buy one of their kitchens, start by attempting to assemble the cabinets yourself. Once you get the hang of it, they are almost all the same. Then, the cabinets come with a rail that hangs on the wall. All the cabinets get attached to the rail and slide over next to each other. You can see us doing that in the video. I think you should give it a try. You can always call someone to finish it if you can't do it. I am really cheap, that's how I learned to do it myself. HA! Stay safe during this crazy time. - Joey.
You should’ve got a counter depth fridge that doesn’t look too bulky, and you can have a water filter system that is installed on the counter top with a small faucet and hidden filter underneath, no need for a big silver cylinder + I wish the counter top ws deep enough to cover the laundry machine. Otherwise good job 👏🏻
Hi AQ. We went back and forth with the counter depth vs standard depth fridge. In the end, we just couldn't go with counter depth. It didn't hold enough produce or prepared food. Our fridge now is stuffed with all the food prep we do on Sunday nights and all the fresh produce we go through. It just didn't work for us. It was a trade off for sure. The Berkey water filter system is the best in our opinion. So I did not want to trade it for an under counter system. It filters out things that those systems do not. The counter top in the laundry room is just a formica counter top from IKEA. It was really cheap. Its actually just setting on some furring strips that go around the walls. We could not have an actual permanent counter there because the water connections are right where the counter top goes so we needed to be able to take that thing off if we had to get to those connections. Again, another trade off we had to make. These are all the things you don't see when you watch the video. Thanks so much for watching.
I LOVE that kitchen! Mine doesn't have any windows and it's half the size of yours. I wasn't sure before about getting an Ikea kitchen, but I thank you for convincing me. A white Ikea kitchen is the way I'm headed now! I'm also in Phoenix and will be checking out Floor and Decor as well. Thanks for sharing!
Go to Just Go or 99 Ranch. For twenty dollars you can get a single propane burner. I use it for those things that must be gas roti, Turkish coffee, and so forth.
Jas, thanks. I have a video on what everything costs and I break it all down. Check out that video also. Its called something like "What my kitchen remodel costs" or something like that. It should give you a good idea of what to expect for costs. Good luck. Send photos when you start! Remember, someone can use your old cabinets so don't destroy them.
Glad you enjoyed it! We have another video that came out after this one that talks about how much everything in the kitchen costs. Check that one out too. Thanks so much for watching.
This was such an eye opener for me. Thank you for having a good idea, plan & execution for this. I’ve been seriously considering replacing the old AZ style kitchen in my home, but other traditional purchase options were too costly. And as a plant based vegan, I love a simple, clean & uncluttered kitchen especially my countertop! IKEA appealed to me because of their effective use of space under the counter. I want everything under the counter to be drawers because it’s easier access and efficient. Other stores charge way too much as if punishing you for not using what everyone else uses! And you’re so right about not having a microwave over the range which has somehow become a norm. Had you considered placing the slide in range into the island (when there’s no upper lip but just a full flat surface) to compliment your beautiful island countertop? I love all kinds of plants and spend maybe 6 days each week just creating and that drawer for my grains, nuts, seeds, etc is exactly my style. Thank you again for showing there are other options that allow real creativity and pleasure. I’ve never known of this channel but came across it while searching for IKEA kitchen info. I’ll subscribe now. Stay safe and keep on with the plant based living!
Sandy. It is crazy how many people come to this video who are actually Vegans or plant based eaters. I had no idea we vegans were such DIYers!! I also have another video on how much this kitchen costs, so check that out. My friends saw this kitchen and were all like "There is so much white???" I was like "Yeah, doesn't it look clean?". I cant prepare food in a dirty kitchen so I need to know its clean, sanitized and ready to cook. Thanks so much for watching.
@@PlantBasedDads lololol Exactly! When I saw that white, I thought “my gosh, someone understands!” That is what I’m looking for but now see I may have to just replace mine. When people see my current countertop and ask why is it so bare, I tell them that I use what I need them put it away because... that’s why I have cabinets! I appreciate clean and lighter shades of counters which is why my car’s interior is white- a reminder to not leave anything in there and to clean up. I’d love to have you both on my team when it came time to install! You’re gracious and clearly have simple good style. I appreciate the response! Later today I’ll look at that IKEA design center and see what can happen. Had you considered placing the cooking surface into the island instead?
We did think about moving the cooktop to the island but it would have required ripping up the flooring to run a 220 line to the island. My family gave me 6 weeks to finish the kitchen and flooring of the whole house before we moved in. So while I made the island bigger, I couldn't really add anything electrical to it. But yes, I did consider that for sure.
@@PlantBasedDads Great video. Could you (if you haven't already) make a video regarding your mistakes in the first two kitchens? I'm debating between Lowe's and IKEA cabinets. I'm leaning towards Ikea, and watching this video made it seem more attainable for me and a few others to do together. But it would be awesome to learn from your mistakes.
Kathy, this was my 4th IKEA kitchen install so this one was the easiest for me. But, it was still a huge amount of work. I did a kitchen cost video to where I talk about what all this stuff costs. Check that one out. Thanks so much for watching.
I love all your ideas. Where you placed the microwave, the toaster and the Berkley. Your choice of materials is stunning. The layout clever and practical.
Oh my gosh! I was just watching your interview on Dr. Riz and Maya's channel and decided to check out your kitchen remodel video. I LOVE THIS KITCHEN!!! It's really beautiful and you did an awesome job on it. Just WOW!
Kristine, thanks so much. Its not the perfect kitchen for everyone but for me its just what a needed. I LOVE Dr. Riz and Maya! They are good people. I did another video about what what the kitchen costs were too so check that out. Thanks so much for watching.
@@PlantBasedDads I'll definitely check it out. And glad I found Dr. Riz and Maya...some more plant based folks to tune in to! Be well and have an awesome Thanksgiving! p.s. Having the microwave below the counter is the way to go, btw! Both my daughters have pretty high end kitchens and that's where their microwaves are placed. No reaching overhead and risking a hot bowl of something spilling while being removed from the microwave. Great idea!
This was my 4th IKEA kitchen Reno. I love IKEA kitchens. I love the organization and the ease of installation. I planned my first Reno for years because I didn't have the money. When I finally was able to afford it, I knew exactly what I wanted because I had years to plan it. So plan, plan, plan even when you cant do the Reno anytime soon. It's free and inspires you. Thanks so much for watching Rosie. I have another video on this that talks about what everything costs and what the grand total was. Check that one out.
Aww thanks so much. I know its a lot of white, but I just wanted to feel like it was clean and open when I cooked in there, which is every day. Thanks so much for watching Diane.
Great point re the pendant lighting.. who wants to be up there dusting lights 🤮 the lights you got compliment the space well & keep it light and open. Also love the choice of backsplash and beverage station (I’m planning the same type of coffee/smoothie nook!)
Wow guys this looks soooo good! Our cabinets now are similar to your old stuff and we have been looking at ikea for a year now debating!!! Did they do the counter tops too??? It looks so good I just made husband watch it and told him next project!!!!!!
We had a guy come in and do the countertops. My old neighbor worked for a company that does that so he got us a good deal on it. The entire project other than counters can be done by someone who is handy. Good luck with and take lots of photos.
Thanks so much! 😊. I love all that stuff on that counter but hate seeing it on the counter when you look at the kitchen, so that little area thats not really seen was perfect for it.
Yes. the wall cabinets are only 15inches deep instead of the 24 inches deep like the base cabinets. So if you buy the 30inch upper cabinets, they are the same height as the base cabinets. You can add them to a space or up against a wall where you don't have 24 inches of depth to work with. In this case, with the 15inch cabinets on the other side of the 24inch cabients for the island, I was already as far over in that opposed side as I could go. So it worked out well.
Wow your new kitchen looks fabulous, you have made it look all so easy . When you were hanging the cabinets it almost looked like they were magnetic and you just arranged everything like a jigsaw. I love the island in the kitchen, it looks great.
Thanks so much! 😊. Since the cabinets are all mounted on a rail system, you just connect them and slide them together. It really is easy after you get the hang of it.
Hi CC. Thanks so much for watching. I have a second IKEA kitchen video that talks about all the materials I used and the costs. I also have links in that video for the actual products I used. Check out the video in the link below: ruclips.net/video/k9TGswZW4q8/видео.html
Nice work buddy I currently doing my own Ikea kitchen too But your kitchen is like 3 times the size of mine so i found it funny when you said "kitchen is not big enough for...." Haha
I guess the size is relative to what everyone else is working with. But of course, its never enough. HA! Good luck with it. As a REALTOR, I can tell you that every dime you put into the kitchen will come back to you when you sell. Its a very good investment.
I love how you guys really thought out the best use of your space. I like how you chose shelves instead of a cabinet & where you placed the toaster & microwave. Beautiful job!
I came to your channel after seeing your French Toast picture on Instagram :)) My kitchen looks just like your "before" kitchen. I am in the Phoenix area so that it could be the same builder! I love love love your "after" kitchen. I so agree with your statement about hating "cooking and looking at the microwave." Thank you for the inspiration!
Great idea! I have wanted to do that for like a year now. I will try and focus on that so I can get it done. Check out the gazebo build we just did. That was crazy!
@@PlantBasedDads I will! We just discovered you last night, and the way you explain your kitchen process is the best we have seen so far. Extremely helpful! My thoughts were scattered with various random ideas. I like your methodical approach.

Thanks so much for watching.
this kitchen is soo cool.. I love the colours very tidy and light colors..love it
I’m glad you have a beautiful kitchen to cook some great vegan meals in ☺️
Right? There is no excuse now to go out to eat. Thanks so much for watching,
Total kitchen envy!
Hi Kelly. Thanks so much. This was our fourth kitchen build. After the last 3 homes, we knew exactly what we needed.
Thanks 😊
I don’t own a home yet but when I do I’ll come back to this video for inspiration!
Ryan, I planned my kitchen for years before I owned a home. Keep planning and dreaming about it. When it happens you will be ready to rock and roll. Thanks so much for watching.
Love everything except the backsplash....great job!!!!!
Hi Judy. Thats my favorite part of the kitchen. HA! Thanks so much for watching.
You do amazing work! You did a beautiful job! I love the over-sized island. I love the backsplash. I love the lighting. I love that you used the laundry too expand storage and workspace. You did great!
Oh thanks so much. As you know, kitchens are very involved so there was a lot of planning. Thanks for watching.
@@PlantBasedDads Bahaha you're too funny!
love this kitchen, space-efficient, cost-effective....gorgeous....and I LOVE the backsplash!
Never thought white on white looked right but this kitchen is amazing
Thanks Bossladiiee! I like white because I can see if there is any dirt. I know its not for everyone, but it sets me at ease knowing I'm cooking in a completely clean kitchen. I did a cost video on the kitchen too. Check that one out. Thanks for watching.
For clean water get an under cabinet reverse osmosis water filtration system.
Thanks so much. Yeah it took a lot of thinking and planning.
What was overall cost of materials? Obviously if you did this for someone else I’d love to know typical labor cost for such a beautiful job.
JGR
Fantastic job. We will be remodeling our kitchen and this video is super helpful. Our current kitchen looks much like your before kitchen looked. I was thinking of doing a similar white kitchen and it is great to get an idea of what the result will look like. You are awesome.
I love your kitchen, as a short person I also want the microwave like that hehe
I know, right? It's actually at the perfect height for me. I thought I would hate it, but I actually love it.
And definitely it was so kind of you to donate those cabinets 👏🏻👍🏻

Amazing work. Very interesting. And the fact that no chunks of animal will be cooked in this kitchen, makes it even better. 👌🤗🐂💖🌟
So true! Thanks so much for watching.
Congratulations! You did a beautiful job of planning and execution. I am impressed with how good the Ikea cabinets look - you have given me some ideas!
Thank you so much!. We really love the final product.
Stunning!
I love Floor and Decor. So many great options there. Thanks so much for watching.
Go to Just Go or 99 Ranch. For twenty dollars you can get a single propane burner. I use it for those things that must be gas roti, Turkish coffee, and so forth.
That is actually a good idea. Thanks so much for watching.
Very informative.. I'm in the planning stages so really appreciate the comments and feedback. Looks wonderful.
@@PlantBasedDads i would like to donate them for sure. They are in good condition.
Yours is the first video I’m watching and I think we are going to try and do it ourselves. Your kitchen looks AMAZING💕
You can totally do it yourself. Thanks so much for watching.
Love the microwave on the island!
Thanks for saying that. I really had reservations about it. But I love that it's not on the counter or over the stove. Thanks for watching.
Excellent video, thank you. You made it look really easy! Great music too - upbeat & soothing through the speed round.
Glad you enjoyed it! We have another video that came out after this one that talks about how much everything in the kitchen costs. Check that one out too. Thanks so much for watching.
What a transformation! Love all the white cabinetry. I sigh with envy at all the clear space on the counters!👍🏼
Thanks so much. I made sure to have a place for everything so nothing was on the counters. Thanks so much for watching Elsa.
Looks great!! I choose an in-island microwave too.
Hi Cyndi. I love it! Thanks so much for watching.
Love all your decisions and hearing how you walked through them.
Hi Bryson. Thanks so much. I did another video on what it costs and the breakdown of each part of the kitchen. Check that one out too.
You guys made this look so easy. Wow
Thanks Curtis. This was our 4th IKEA kitchen. We made plenty of mistakes in the first two. This one really went together so fast and simple.
Youmake it look so easy
Kathy, this was my 4th IKEA kitchen install so this one was the easiest for me. But, it was still a huge amount of work. I did a kitchen cost video to where I talk about what all this stuff costs. Check that one out. Thanks so much for watching.
I love all your ideas. Where you placed the microwave, the toaster and the Berkley. Your choice of materials is stunning. The layout clever and practical.
Thanks so much for watching. Its probably not for everyone but I love the layout.
I love it!!!! Wasn't sure about the green details in your kitchen but it worked out great! 😍😍😍
Great idea!
Its perfect for me too!
I love your video! I could even watch the whole thing. Great inspiration for our future reno
I love this kitchen I cant wait to remodel mines!
You can do it!
You guys make it look so easy! It looks truly beautiful and it is functional! I'm working on my Ikea kitchen now and I'm so excited!

OMG...this is AH-MAZING!!!!!! Wish I could afford this!
Tee Jay, I was planning my kitchen years before I ever could afford the house. I hear ya!
You have wonderful taste. I love the kitchen.
Exactly!! I did another video on this called "What My Ikea Kitchen Costs" or something like that. I go over all the material and costs.
First thing I noticed, is how strong you two are!! Ok now gonna start the video! lol
Yay! Thank you!
Absolutely adore your drink corner, such a great use for an odd little space! Whole kitchen turned out wonderful.
Thanks so much! 😊. I love all that stuff on that counter but hate seeing it on the counter when you look at the kitchen, so that little area thats not really seen was perfect for it.
Great job and design.

Thanks so much Windell. Thanks so much for watching.
Very impressive! I bet its motivated you so much to want to cook in your new kitchen!!
Yes. We now have no excuse to eat out much. We always at at home on Sunday thru Thursday anyway.
What a transformation...great job...looks fantastic!
Thanks so much James. It was a labor of love. It also helped that we had not moved into the house until after the kitchen remodel was complete.
I’d love to know more about you using wall cabinets as a base! I’ve never heard that trick before
Yes. the wall cabinets are only 15inches deep instead of the 24 inches deep like the base cabinets.
Holy Crap! This was A-Mazing! Way to go. I loved it.
We are so glad you liked it. Thanks so much for watching
Hi PBDs! New subscriber... I didn’t catch what type of material the backsplash is... tile? I’d love to get a similar look. Thank you!

Nice work buddy
I currently doing my own Ikea kitchen too
But your kitchen is like 3 times the size of mine so i found it funny when you said "kitchen is not big enough for...." Haha
I guess the size is relative to what everyone else is working with. But of course, its never enough. HA! Good luck with it. As a REALTOR, I can tell you that every dime you put into the kitchen will come back to you when you sell. Its a very good investment.
I love how your kitchen looks!! Amazing job to all
