Thanks. I would love to do that and my do that at some point. I already get people complaining that my free channel is causing them to unsubscribe because of videos that are sponsored. So I am hesitant to "Push" anything like "my kids need equipment so send me money" on them. But, I am doing what I do on a teachers salary and I know people want to help me with stuff like this for the students so they can be part of the contributions I make, so there is some really good reasoning for that for sure. I am still thinking about all that. Thanks so much for your comment. It makes me feel like the world is a little bit better today. :)
Thank you for sharing your hectic Saturday, fun to watch but if you are anything like me, it will be a relief when things settle into the academic year routine. Hope the kids appreciate your table tennis efforts! Take care you all.
Maria, there was a HUGE turnout for Table Tennis. The kids were supposed to play from 2:15 to 3:15 and at 4:00 they were still playing! They get to play every Tuesday from 2:15 to 3:15 and yesterday was the opening day. I loved it.
Joey, you are explaining what happens to a lot of us on any given day. It is nice that someone like you can explain it so well. I have ADHD and I am 59, so i have issues explaining how fast my day can get out of control. My days get out of control so quickly, especially with me taking care of my land (2.25 acres), which I am slowly building out to be self sustainable. I am going full solar in October, and that is the last piece to get off the grid. My next few tasks are getting my fence installed, which is over 1000 feet, and then I need to build some raised bed planters so I can start my garden next year. I moved here 2 years ago, so I am overwhelmed and happy with the results so far. It is so rewarding. I would not change it for anything.
When I was editing this, I was just amazed how this was just a complete mess of things that I had not planned and yet everyone seems to identify with this type of Saturday. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Grocery haul video next week.
It is so funny because I am editing the video and the first part shows all the gains I have made and how muscular I have become, and then the second part with me and Tim in the kitchen looks like I have gained weight not lost it. The only difference is that I had a big Mexican food meal between the two video clips. It is crazy what a full stomach can look like on camera.
Sleep is a huge piece of the puzzle for body recomposition. Getting 8 hours plus an adequate amount of high quality fats & protein makes a huge difference
This one was just a runaway train. The good new is that we had a HUGE crowd of kids for table tennis that was supposed to go from 2:15-3:15pm. At 4:00pm They were still playing.
Thanks for showing your wild day! It’s the same for me these days. Back to school season is the worst for me (along with admissions season which is directly after 😩 send thots and players lol) For me, stress, sleep, and metabolic adaptation are what keep me at fat loss plateaus or sticking points. Easing up for a short planned period, then going back into it always works for me.
Thanks for sharing your day, I love the realistic way you show things! Your day looks exhausting. It is hard with the eating when you are running around and busy. Even though its not the best option, I carry a vegan protein bar with me, in case I need it. I still think you are looking fantastic! Im still working at losing weight. It is not easy, but will be worth it. How much walking do you usually do?
Just down the road from your fav Mexican place, is a sushi place called Ironchef. We were just there on Sunday and we got veggie rolls to share (avocado, asparagus, cucumber, roasted sweet potato). I’ve never eaten “real” sushi before, but love it now as a plant based option. I stay away from the tempura because it’s so fatty deep fried but the cucumber salad is pretty good. Miso soup is a favorite but you have to specify no fish sauce. One of these days I’ll run into you guys as we seem to hit up the same stores and/or areas.
Oh, we have not tried that place. Thanks for the tip. Yes, if you see me, come over and say hello. I hit the Sprouts, Costco and Whole Foods in that area must weekends.
Went to Iron Chef tonight. Holy smokes. Large portions and so many options with Tofu. We got the tempura sweet potato roll as an appetizer too. Lexx never eats sushi and he went back for seconds. I did a shout out to you in the coming video this week. Thanks for this.
I wonder if you’re eating too few calories and your body is hanging onto the weight so you don’t go into starvation mode. With plant foods, you shouldn’t need to be so strict with calories, especially since you are working out too.
I'm just gonna put this out here. I kind of thought that one of the perks of following a WFPB way of eating was that you didn't have to count calories. That being said, you were having trouble with your weight and decided to make some tweaks in how you ate but you also started a work out regimen. So I guess the point I am trying to make is.......couldn't you have just kept on eating your original WFPB way but also included your new workout routine (because you really weren't working out before) and still lost weight? Some of us don't realize that no matter how you eat, it's still calories in and calories out. It's hard to lose or maintain weight if you are sedentary. This is something I've been thinking about as a couple of other WFPB youtubers have deviated from the way they started and incorporated working out and consuming more protein in their day to day lives, in order to lose weight.
WFPB does not have anywhere near the protein I need for weight training, I did a whole video on this. For instance, i would need thousands of calories in beans to get enough protein for muscle building. It doesn't work.
Sorry for chiming in but moving to a high protein diet completely changed my body composition so I have to add my 2 cents 😅 Weight loss and fat loss are different things. If you don’t care where the weight loss comes from, sure you can do that on WFPB. But if you want to retain and even build muscle mass, it’s unnecessarily difficult in comparison to a high protein vegan diet which arguably has far more benefits even though there’s the addition of moderately and even highly processed foods here and there.

You should post a link to an Amazon wishlist for your club (and classroom). You'd be amazed what you get!

Girl, you have a lot going on!
We've had an unseasonably cool August here in Maryland and it's been so lovely. But it bounced back up to the 90s this week.
Same with the weather in Portland OR. Rainy too. My poor tomatoes
Thank you for keeping it real. Love watching.

Great video!! Best day in my life Ive seen!! I love Dr Bonners products!
It was the worst day to film this type of video but the best stuff is often unplanned

I do about 20k steps a day, but 10k of that is just from standing and walking in my classroom.
@@PlantBasedDads that's terrific!
I could not live there. The heat bothers me more each year.
I could not live anywhere else

What is the name of the pancake syrup
It is called Wholesome Yum Zero Sugar syrup.
I honestly don’t know how you handle that kind of heat!!!! I’m from MN and now live in WA State…. I wear a sweater in the evening here….. just sayin 😂
I have been to both states and the humidity was just too much for me. I know how you feel.
