Hi, all food coloring will eventually result in bleed. I find gel food coloring and using less food coloring will result in less bleed. This recipe is soft and less firm. It’s good in fridge for 3 days, after that it’s starts to get a little mushy and the strings may break when mixed.

Does this recipe come out with cendols that are firm and jelly-like? I like softer cendols.

I would like a presser like yours where did you get it? Comes in handy.
Hi, try looking up Lod Chong pressure. I bought mines from a local Asian store. It’s available on Amazon.

Hi, I’m not sure as I have not used a whole bag of mung bean yet.
Does the powder coloring you use bleed and is this recipe more firm and chewy or more mushy in texture? How long does it last in the fridge?

Can we use coconut milk instead of water?
For this recipe you’ll need to use the exact amount for it to turn out. I unfortunately have not done it with just water.
Can someone plz help? How do I stop color bleeding ?
