This extra special episode a very informative one, in honour of the #SickleCellWarriors this September, the #SickleCellAwarenessMonth.
My Alero, who is a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner of Haemoglobinopathy educated us on what we could do as individuals to support the warriors and also what people with the cell could eat for nutrition. She also helped put an end to unnecessary questions people ask.
