I enjoyed the video. Thank you. Here's a tip for you for your travels with quilt blocks you've already precut. Instead of using paper plates, purchase inexpensive plastic table mats. These could be cut in half to fit easier in your Yazzi bag. Place cuttings for each block and use Glad Press and Seal to keep them secure and prevent mix-up and loss. The Press and Seal can be reused to lengthen the lifetime of the product.
Great video. That's how I secured my quilts on my longarm too. I sold it so now I am back to using my domestic and my embroidery machine. But I miss my longarm!
On this one, yes I did float it. It was so big and any wonkiness would be seen immediately so I stabilized the entire quilt first before longarming. Using this method, you have to float the quilt.
So, after you basted the very bottom of the quilt, I am assuming that you rolled the entire quilt top, batting and backing onto the backing bar so that you could start quilting from the top down. You did not show this part, so I want to be sure that I am understanding.
Really enjoyed! Would like to see more videos/lives showing longarm quilting tips, tricks, techniques, and sew much more! Thanks!
More to come!

Thanks! I never thought about measuring down. I just take basting out as I go which slows me down
Amazing girl!
Olá! Lindo trabalho. Você poderia me dizer o nome dessa máquina? Obrigada ❤🇧🇷🇧🇷
So you baste the whole quilt BEFORE you quilt it?
Not always. Only when it’s not looking square.
Are you floating your quilt?

Thank you! I love your videos! I also have a King Quilter Elite.

Yes, that's exactly what I did. Thanks for watching!
Did you do channel lock so that your quilt would be straight?
Yes!
