Just got back from a North Carolina trip myself. My brother and I had blast and caught all the panfish in the state with the exception of the green sunfish. Love your videos man keep on exploring and stay safe in your travels.
@@CreekFishingAdventures thank you very kindly Jon!!!! I can't comprehend how fast my channel has grown in just a year 😳 🙃 I appreciate your support and help in me achieving such an incredible milestone!!! Let's go fishing together soon man!!
Such a beautiful place to visit. Catching fish was a bonus. So glad to see you getting more notoriety as well John. You’ve worked hard and now God is blessing you with some good equipment to try out
Nice blessing !! Waiting for more use and full disclosure. Our Appalachian mountains and waterways are so beautiful ! We are blessed. Thanks for the ride ! Always be safe. Randy B.
John the opening music and scenery was amazing! This is the way to experience nature and its purest form. The sound of everything reminds me of when I'm fishing in the mountains.
Awesome man. I have been fishing out of my SS127 for many years now and love it but since I mostly fish rivers I have been jonesing for this RVR. May take a drive up to the factory next week. Nobody has them in stock around me. Congrats on getting that thing!
Enjoy the new kayak. Your drone footage has really improved over the past few months. Great shots!! Looks like you and Tyler had a great day on the water.
Unfortunately the RVR 119 looks like a well made kayak however its just too heavy at 85 lbs. for most people to load and unload not to mention drag up and down to launch. Weight is always one of the first questions I hear when discussing kayaks. For river fishing I’d be looking for something in the 50 lb. range!
Always enjoy your videos, especially when nearby. I didn't see a link to the Bonafide kayaks in the info. I was at their retail store in Fletcher NC this past Thursday. Nice people.
Wow, John, that's the perfect boat for you. I'm wondering ihow it would do on bigger water like a river Obviously it would be great for the creeks and streams dumping into rivers like the ohio, Tennessee, ets. Can't wait to see more vids on this yak.
Amazed at the accuracy of both casts you made at around 4:50, John! NICE!! So when you putting up a new pole building to store your kayak fleet in??!! :-) You'll need a triple decker trailer to haul them all in!! Good stuff as always, John! :-)
Hey John, compared to the SS127, what was your perception of the stability when standing to fish, sitting up/standing down, etc.. in the RVR vs the 127?
So how is the stand fishing stability compared to the Shoalie? I have a Crescent Lite Tackle I can stand in, but I’m not comfortable fishing while standing.
I’ve had it for 6 years now, going on 7. Thing is a workhorse. Caught a ton of fish, travelled literally hundreds of miles. It has wear. But the bungees still have elasticity, and there’s no sign of the boat stopping. 5/5.
I wanted to like this boat when it came out but lack of a PDL drive is a deal breaker for me. You can't really launch and go upriver alone without a PDL drive or electric power, you can only float down which requires a shuttle service most of us don't have access to either. Paddling these big heavy fishing kayaks is a joke and waste of time and energy. I have NK 180 power now, but I always have my PDL drive with me in case that fails. You should never rely on electric power alone, especially if you go out fishing alone. Fishing itself is best done with the PDL drive, the electric drive is for covering distance and saving time and energy.
CFA was so much better pre-kayak 2016-2020 or so. Still a good channel but lost a lot of what made it outstanding when it was wading local creeks on a budget. View counts prove this out.
Saturday morning. *Coffee in hand* . New fishing vid. *Thank you* .
Awesome spot to go fishing. The mountains of NC are something else!
That is a sweet ride my dude - I'm sure you'll put 'er to use! Have a great weekend.

Looks like a GREAT kayak for sure. Caint wait to see more of it.
Beautiful scenery 👌 😍 I have some good news to share with you Jon!!!! I just went over 4,000 subscribers and 2 MILLION total channel views today 👏 🙌

Great video John. I have an SS127 and I love it. Bonafide has great products and customer service. Cant wait for a full review.
Sharp yak!! Folks at Bonafide know what they're doing. 🚢
The first two minutes of views & music were great!
Pretty environment to fish in
Great trip and new fishing spot shared with Tyler. The bass were the bonus stuff. Blessings brother
Cool kayak John. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family and friends...🙏❤🙏❤🙏😊🙂😀

Like a surgeon with the casts 🎣
Last fall i recommended the RVR to you in your live.. 👊🏻🤙🏻 and I want one too.
That rudder system is cool
How cool. It looks like we will be seeing a lot of that beauty.
Beautiful fishing! Enjoyed the video very much. Tight lines 💪🎣❤️
Thanks for going over the kayak. Nice having two people going over different features. Definitely will be watching for updates on it
Another nice video! Thanks for sharing!
You are blessed John, enjoy your new kayak.

I am so looking forward to getting one.
Love that RVR 119 kayak!
Precision casting.
That kayak looks awesome. Nice video John thanks for sharin, n lookin forward to the up coming videos

very nice lookin lake
Great looking kayak. I’m interested in seeing how you think it compares to the Crescent Shoalie.
Yeah buddy!! I have a bonafide kayak. I love it. Nice and stable for a big guy like myself.
Sweet yak, enjoy
Great video man. Congratulations on the new kayak!

depends on what you are looking for, i will take a little more wait for the comfort of it
Super cool video brother

i figured people know what bonafide is

Nice video!! It looks like rear end of the RVR tends to slide out when you stop padding is that your experience?
😊thank you
Beta fishing RUclips channel on RUclips. Keep up the good work!
first impressions on kayak - it looks wider and better - more stable and a bit more space
great video i saw you with a Crescent shoalie how does it and the rvr119 compare
Amazed at the accuracy of both casts you made at around 4:50, John! NICE!! So when you putting up a new pole building to store your kayak fleet in??!! :-) You'll need a triple decker trailer to haul them all in!! Good stuff as always, John! :-)
i was looking at my yard yesterday to see where i can put a building
Hey John, compared to the SS127, what was your perception of the stability when standing to fish, sitting up/standing down, etc.. in the RVR vs the 127?
i have never been in a 127, but i dont think the rvr is as stable because its made to paddle in the current
Wondering John if you had more depth in that kayak if it would be a lot more stable standing up on the water
need to come to Ohio and hit a creek/river with me. smallmouth heaven
I like them glasses what brand are they
Touched by the hand of God.
What a sweet rig! Definitely helps to get away from all the googans haha
John, your videos are very enjoyable and always well done. Curious how you stay current on all your licenses for the various states?
online apps
That is a really nice kayak, what kind of reel were you using today John? They were so smooth 🐟🎣🐟🎣
spinning reel was a diawa tatula
I call the half jump the dolphin LOL
Does that paddle sometimes get in the way or do you get used to it?
it can be tough to do fishing like this but you can get used to it
So what does the Shoalie get used for? Is it just smaller rivers/creeks?
same stuff, they are different but made for the same kind of fishing
So how is the stand fishing stability compared to the Shoalie? I have a Crescent Lite Tackle I can stand in, but I’m not comfortable fishing while standing.
i can stand and catch fish in both, the rvr is a bit easier to stand in
@@CreekFishingAdventures Thank you sir. I love your creek content. Either from the bank or in a kayak!
What do you do with the other kayaks? I would love to have one of them
i have obligations to use them in videos to promote the companies that gave them to me
Just wondering, do you have a permit for all the non-resident fishing you do?
He has stated many, many times he buys non-resident licenses every state he fishes in.
its easy to get licenses online
I was wondering what the differences are between this and the Shoalie you got not that long ago?
they are close but several differences, i will plan to do a comparison video soon
Somebody call Elton John and tell him we have found his glasses lol

abu garcia revo

A kayak made for river fishing, and not just for solid floating dock standing, can be rather efficient paddling upstream.
🧐👌
Great looking yak. My interest is piqued.
By 2025 you’re going to have fished in 100 kayaks
nah, just 99
#979👍🏻🛶🎣👀
What River is this on??
CFA was so much better pre-kayak 2016-2020 or so. Still a good channel but lost a lot of what made it outstanding when it was wading local creeks on a budget. View counts prove this out.
you could be right, nothing stays the same. I plan to do what i like to do, not just what gets views
@@CreekFishingAdventures I can respect that.
Garbage kayak. They maneuver horribly.
compared to what, i like to know what works well
@@CreekFishingAdventures Stick with what most people get like Old Town but I like Hobie. Btw, there is no comparison. These two are far better.
