F-in loved this pub on my visit to Dublin ❤ We went in every morning and evening as our hotel was round the corner. We used to sit outside as I smoke. On the last night the temperature dropped fast so my wife asked can we please go inside. The pub was full, no tables free or room at the bar to sit. The landlord saw this so came round the bar to look for us. Two lads were sat at a table, he asked them are you expecting company? No they replied. Well you are now, you two (Us) sit down 😂 Cracking pub and great atmosphere cannot wait to visit again.
I love coming over to Dublin from the Uk . Best pubs going . We’re over again in July , what’s the best pub for the black stuff ? We only normally go to the touristy bits
Many say Mulligans ,Poolbeg st .Its an old style pub ,5 minutes walk outside Temple bar .Also look into Johnny Foxes up the Wicklow /Dublin Mountains overlooking the City . (Foxes is very touristy though ).When indoor drinking is allowed again try the Cobblestone ,Smithfield Sq ,for pints and live music .Mostly locals .
