As good as new! Polish came out great. Im the same way. I have to keep my tools clean at work and at home. Some of the guys I work with have the most unorganized and dirty tools. I’d rather keep the tools I spent hard earned money on clean and longer lasting. Great video.

Nice job when I can find them I pick up ratchets that I already have so I got spares and rebuild kits when I can find them

I just brought 4 old tools back to life and I waxed them also. Just keyboard commandos think they know everything. If you don't add a little extra protection that on you but I prefer to take a little extra time and energy to make them last longer ..

I agree, you can make them last longer, with a little bit of care!

My older brother was a mechanic And he used a lot of different ratchets to do a lot of different things I'm sure Once a month He would take his ratchets Transmission Type FA Half of a quart and a half a quart of mystery oil in a old slow cooker on low for a few hours He told me that it help keep The nasty garbage that can get into ratchet By warming it up Its dissolve into those 2 oils

That's not a bad idea, kind of like a sonic cleaner, uses heat and chemicals to break down the gunk, I like it!

Yeah we couldn't afford the sonic cleaner
But the old garage sale was only a buck or two we could afford
      Cheap is good
