The AI is one of the best in the SimRacing genre I think. If you want to see shit AI check out Forza Motorsport, which is a AAA game from huge studio and Microsoft publisher.
Modern car meets historical track, nice. Did give it a try during the trial and it was great to drive, with more patches it can only get better. Sadly was abit disappointed with missing electric to combustion starts even Forza nailed that one (literally one of the only cars built from the ground up). Knowing Reiza, im sure they'll get better and better and I cant wait for them to add the Ferraris.
According to Reiza, the ERS simulation isn't complete yet. Probably the idea was to launch the content and then sorting out the meticulous bits later, as it will probably avoid having to build up a player base when Le Mans Ultimate is out, for example.
I really doubt the Black Forest section would be sustainable now, but full Hockenheim would probably have a more secure spot in the WEC calendar than Nurburgring, or at least attract more attention than the current Hockenheim and Nurburgring.

The content in this game is getting better and better. Now all it needs is some QOL for the online and an AI that isnt shit and we are golden
