- Liz is hungry and tired. She's allergic to so many different foods, including coconut, which is the main source of food for many of the tribe. After Q wins the biggest reward challenge of the season, an Applebee's dinner for him and three others of his choosing, Liz begs him to pick her. This is food she can actually eat, but when he doesn't choose her, she lets Q have it!

I can’t believe how quickly she looked possessed, turned red in the face and acted like Q owed her even though she voted for him. Why go on Survivor if you don’t eat coconuts and other fruits because of your allergies. Survivor is about living off the land unless you win a challenge and your award is food and it’s not going to be Applebee’s all the time. Heck this is my first time seeing Applebee’s as the reward. She acted like a complete Karen, until Q reminded her that she had voted for him. All of a sudden her face turned back to its original color (like magic) and she didn’t have anything else to say. Lol
My mom and I absolutely lost it when Q said “but you voted for me last night.” 😂

@@triasic4457 Q didn't know the details of the split vote. So from his perspective Liz was the only one in the revote to still want him out even though Hunter (a bigger threat) was the obvious choice.

Apples and oranges. Q has been able to eat for the whole season and does not have an emotional connection to the reward. Not saying Q has an obligation to take Liz, but there are pretty obvious repercussions for not doing so, namely that he burns _another_ jury vote after already losing Tiff, Kenzie and probably Ben.

@@dx-dragon4399 He only made his situation worse because, by not taking Liz, he transparently showed Kenzie and Tiffany that his reasons for taking them were entirely selfish. If he had taken one or both of them in combination with Liz, his strategic tunnel vision would be less obvious, but he instead revealed that he was still only factoring his own benefit into his decisions which meant he was just as likely to betray them again.
Ridiculous!! Lord, the world we live in. Look - Liz knew she had food allergies and yet she CHOSE a to go on survivor but now she wants special treatment because she hasn’t been able to eat much. Lady, this is Surviver!!! WTF you expect. Hats off to Q. He’s crazy but did not succumb to the ridiculousness of Liz’s expectation of pity.

I remember in the 2nd season when they did the first Survivor auction: on the way back to camp a lot of them weren't feeling so good cause they weren't used to eating that much food.

It means she deserves to leave the game, because she can't handle it.

Honestly this was disturbing behavior… and idk why but I feel like she would not have yelled at one of the other players like that. If you want to go on the reward win it, but to attack Q like that personally because she can’t eat anything was actually awful and shameful to watch for someone who keeps going on and on about the kind of example she wants to be for her daughter. Terribly unlikable player and a whiny self important person. Go around bragging the first six days about how you don’t need the money but then throwing a fit because you don’t get picked for the reward.

Of course it’s personal towards Q. Because it’s not only about the food it’s the fact the he blew up her whole game and has been causing chaos. She’s mad at him…it’s a normal human thing and I think the fact that you’re calling it disgusting is a way for you to place your own personal judgements and biases on this woman. On one hand, I can understand her frustrations, but on the other, she's the one who went into a game where she was allergic to, like, 99% of the foods the players eat on a daily basis. I am sympathizing more and more with Q every episode. Yeah he spazzed at tribal and has been a wildcard but that’s kinda par for the course on survivor and everyone’s just been shitting on him nonstop since. PRAYING he makes it to the final three and somehow conjures up an adequate speech about how all his actions were pre-calculated and part of some master plan and pulls off the W of all W’s!!
I'm not gonna say much but in the next 2 episodes Liz will organize a Q vote off and make FTC and be a 0 vote finalist

I think the point was she doesn't have to apologize for feeling the way she does. The outburst was a product of almost three weeks without food. Of all the breaking points there are, I think that's one of the more understandable ones.

How exactly does one know what 18 days of starvation is going to do to them? Also nice allergy in quotes as if it's not even real. Man I laughed soooo hard watching this on my DVR this past weekend catching up on the past 3 episodes of SURVIVOR!! I must’ve rewind this clip at LEAST 4-5 times in shock!’ Never seen anyone react like this before ESPECIALLY for not being picked to go on a reward challenge. Can you imagine if she reacted this way over Apple Bee’s one can only imagine WTF she would do-oo-oo…for a Klondike bar? 😁

What I don’t understand is why would you sign up to participate on a show where you know that there’s very little food? Knowing the allergies you have. You state what a HUGE fan of the show you are, so you knew what they get in the way of food. No one’s fault but yours. And Q isn’t the one who messed up your game. You’re pissed because he did something in the game that caused your plan to not go the way you wanted. Take responsibility for your actions.
She relied on Hunter and Tevin to feed her. You think that she would have tried to learn to fish to SURVIVE for herself, but she is the only person from Nami tribe that we never saw footage of her out there trying to fish.
I like the way Venus looks like she's going to try to comfort Liz (at 0:34), and then very quickly realizes that's not such a good idea.
How could you be upset about not being picked after you split the move on the person that one the challenge. She wouldn't have picked him if she won herself. I'm really bothered by the fact that she spewed all of that hatred towards Q and everyone else cosigned her unhinged behavior.

No food on survivor? Then Hunt for it! This moment went down in history for sure. My new all time favourite episode of survivor, and the Venus moment was priceless.
Every one knows a Liz, a self absorbed person who refers to themselves in 3rd person, and thinks her allergies are an identity. News flash most people think your allergies are tedious.
It's funny because during the challenge, she didn't really care that she lost because she just assumed that she was gonna get picked.
I miss Survivor casting crazy people who don't play well with others. This season has had 2!!! Even though I think Bhanu was an actor putting on a show. Them actually creating this human behavior experiment is what originally brought me to survivor. This ranks up there with pouring rice on the fire by the nuclear physicist, hahha. I hope next season they do it again and cast people who are, on paper, going to clash and see what happens! Good television. Jeff had some good smack talk this episode too, he cracks me up on his observations during challenges. Even the end was amazing. Tiff going on about how she got invited to the reward but blah blah it don't mean anything in regard to mending fences with Q, lol gone. I guess she was right. This really resurrected my fandom. I've been just kind of watching on autopilot, these last few seasons, last night was on-the-edge of the seat and popcorn. The producers were even amazing on the false crescendos in the music during the reward challenge. I thought it was over like 3 times. Good work.

Everyone that gets blindsided gets their game ruined, and their allies. If you know you’ve got all these allergies you and you alone are responsible for what you can eat when you sign up for the game.

See moments like this make me happy that I am self aware. I know I get hangry and would look foolish so Survivor is a big no for me. I’ll continue watching from my couch while eating a taco or slice of pizza. Venus’s reaction was golden. 🤣
