    Well, I have just trawled through a lot of cheese and onion pasty recipes, never having made them. Yours was the only one I “liked” within the first 30 seconds. I will be making these so my grateful thanks for a fabulous recipe that looks absolutely mouthwatering. Thank you.

    Looks amazing! I'll be making these this weekend. I'm also looking into growing a new breed of onion in my garden next year. That looks like an Ailsa Craig if I'm not mistaken? Thanks for the recipe and hello from Chicago.

    Do we freeze them uncooked or cooked? And if we haven’t any grease proof paper can we use foil? Thanks

    • @roojithefoodie16
      @roojithefoodie16  2 года назад

      Freeze - uncooked
      Foil - will likely stick to the pastries so I would recommend baking paper of any kind (you can even use the one the ready rolled pastry comes wrapped in)

    Hi is their an alternative for the cream can I use milk

    • @roojithefoodie16
      @roojithefoodie16  3 года назад +1

      Hey, I haven’t tried it with milk as I think it will make the mixture too sloppy resulting in a soggy pasty. I’d stick to double cream

  • @eddiebrockbank6517

    • @roojithefoodie16

      It balances out given the amount of mixture, it’s not too much just enough
