my fav part about music (and art in general) is interesting choices. Like how every song is a collection of thousands of choices and every artist needs to make these choices either consciously or unconsciously. When i feel like "This choice was a very conscious one" that gives me so much joy. Like when an artist goes a path less traveled, not to be controversial or to go against the grain but because they genuinely believe that choice to be the best one to achieve their goal.
Just like Dane, I can't hear a song and like it at first time, my brain immediately deletes it. I gotta listen to it multiple times and then realize it's obsession worthy.
There is one Imagine Dragons song that my sister can't listen to anymore because she got in a car accident while it was playing, and my mom would always just sing along to it, when it came on the radio anyway because she liked it, and it would really upset my sister. My mom just couldn't fathom why she didn't like hearing the song.
Bodybuilding can provide the opportunity to perform weighted stretching which generally is superior for flexibility gains than unweighted stretching. Bodybuilders who have a lack of flexibility either avoid training in this manner or have muscles large enough that they physically get in the way of stretching further. However being muscular on its own isn’t a sufficient condition to determine ones flexibility
With the Hawk Tua meme, I saw it all over car guy instagram. It was jokes like, "When the bolt is stuck" then the girl saying, "You gotta give it that hawk tua, and spit on that thing"
That brainrot same comment shit that TikTok has, is the same reason I don't participate on reddit anymore these days. So many comment threads just devolve into the same jokes they've been making for a decade. Also that stadium with the fireworks is near where I live. I've been to that show in the past and I always felt like it was cheaply planned and could be an issue. Not surprised this finally happened.

I am a dedicated change picker-upper and thought the conversation was hilarious. I think of it as, it takes 2 seconds for me to take a penny off the ground (I typically squat), and taking 2 seconds to earn 1 penny is the equivalent of 18 dollars an hour of work, which is pretty good. 2 seconds to get a nickel is the equivalent of 90 dollars an hour. If I could, for a living, just sit on the ground and pick up a nickel every 2 seconds and put it in a pouch, I'd be making incredible amounts of money. Anisa, your ex was right to be excited about a dime, because the 2 seconds it takes to pick up a time, for a brief moment, your income shoots up to 180 dollars an hour. I will not be shamed and I will not be stopped.

Kind of a bummer I'm all caught up now and will have to wait week for week. Wanted to let you know that this podcast has been a really good reminder for me to not make judgments where I dont know the full story. I was a big fan of Idubbbz at the height of the content cop stuff and was disappointed with the apology. I want to highlight the position many fans take when it comes to internet celebrity. Though the relationship is one sided, there is certainly a simulated sense of connection. As a result, it's easy to take impassioned positions when a behavioral shift occurs, like you would with a friend. So much so that when I saw you changing the nature of your content with apologist overtones, it was all too easy to blame Anisa for being "my buddy's girlfriend that is changing him." But like the examples of my buddies in real life, I was never seeing the whole picture. I couldn't see every time they were supporting my friend, every time they worked to become better together, or every time they simply enjoyed being together. This pod has allowed me to view you as a couple in a much more appropriate context than all the negative noise the internet has offered. It makes me happy to know you are more comfortable with who you are than you were, especially since it had to come at the expense of your stability as an internet celebrity. That must mean it's worth it, and if Anisa did play a heavy role in your development, that can only be a good thing if it has made you happy.
