  • One streamer was so desperate for money and fame that he would kill his girlfriend for the whole world to witness... all for the sake of a mere $1,000. But who is Stas Reeflay? What kind of sick internet phenomena allowed him to find an audience? And how has this changed the digital landscape?

      Hmmm, I'm not sure as the money is gifted up front, and regardless of the action, the money isnt refunded. There was no real pressure for the streamers to do anything. I think that energy would be better spent on banning Trash streaming altogether

      @@user-in3yq9fx8z But isn’t it basically the same as conspiracy to murder? If you hire a hitman, you pay them money (sometimes upfront) to kill someone. The hitman has a choice to say yes or no and is accountable, thats out of question. But the one who hired him is at fault as well. That’s why it is actually punished in court with prison time.

      @@user-in3yq9fx8z That's such a strawman argumant. Not only did the donator ask for this, they additionally threw in a monetized incentive/reward to perform the action. This alone drastically increases the likelihood of something happening. They are 100% equally as accountable as the murderer, for being the catalyst to this horrific event, gun or no.

    • @suzimonkey345
      @suzimonkey345 26 дней назад +1

      Yes! Like “Hate Crime” legislation! It is even more deplorable to prey on vulnerable victims.
      + Torture should always be added as a separate crime. Coercive Control is now a crime in its own right in the UK.
      As understanding of criminal psychology progresses, it should be considered when setting sentencing guidelines. There are crimes that generally reveal a very dark & dangerous psychology eg “flashing”, stalking etc. The experts now know that they can’t treat sexual sadists. If they are always going to be a danger to others, should they ever be released?
      Those convicted for owning child pornography (even the very worst) frequently don’t get a custodial sentence. Peeping Toms & flashers rarely get prison time too! Even rapists often only receive a few years or probation.
      I know that our prisons are overcrowded but these are VERY dangerous criminals who get-off on instilling shock & fear, controlling & subjugating victims according to their perverted fantasies. A slap on the wrist teaches them that they can get away with these crimes, building their confidence…

      As usual though it is much more positive than negative but as here the negative is reported on much more. There are amazing medical things done and look how the internet helped get info out of countries like China during Tiananmen Square protests and massacre and Egypt during their revolution. But you are right there's always bad apples and that's why people need to resolve themselves to be decent and compassionate. Make the choice now so you don't have to when confronted with this vile crap.

    1)Trash streaming should be ILLEGAL!!! I recently saw another case where a group of friends were live streaming themselves and ppl would donate $1 to get one of the guys to drink. His “friends” thought it was hilarious and would pour liquor in a cup (when he was payed to do a shot). Long story short, he died after drinking far more than his body could handle.
    2) SIX YEARS FOR KILLING SOMEONE!!! 🤯 I have no words!!! With his lack of empathy and respect for human life he will sadly be the reason another person suffers or dies. What will they do then? Give him probation 😡

What woman would want to be with a man like this? You're quite literally risking your life to be with these types of men, and they make it clear they'll throw your life away for something like a little clout, and a bit of cash!
