Bro, if my parents were one fifth as unconditionally supportive as Grant's, I would literally be a doctor-lawyer-scientist, right now.
No, you wouldn’t, that’s just an excuse. My parents were and are probably the most supportive parents in the world. I just don’t have what it takes to be any of those things, my first delusional dream was wanting to be a plastic surgeon. In Grant’s mind he thought he was in a real relationship Sylvia
Addiction is a crazy disease. But people don't want to accept that these women are taking advantage of mentally ill porn addicts because that's 'sExIsM', so 🤷🏼
It especially hurts knowing that his family cared despite whatever disharmony was going on behind closed doors. Otherwise, they wouldn't have sent him money or given him that "Contract" and just kick him out.

@@Jenza82 Same!
My heart goes out to the sole survivor of the family. He’s going to live knowing that his own younger brother, who needed serious help (not defending Grant’s actions), murdered his whole family, over a girl who had nothing to do with any of this!
He was right in saying that he just as easily could have been a victim too. That's very sobering.
I can't imagine putting that much money towards anything other than a home. What a complete dumbass...of course, he wasn't using his own money so he put no value to it.
An IMAGINARY electronic girl - only a virtual construct - not someone with whom he had an actual (non-monetary) connection. 😣
Well dual survivor if you include his aunt Donna.
And she was probably not even real chick or maybe AI .... Who knows these days
His Dad was such a good, kind and forgiving person. This really pissed me off.
The parent's only real mistake was giving their grown-ass, live at home 30yr old deadbeat son, access to their savings accounts. What a shame that this parasite of a son rewarded his parent's complete blind trust and support, by blowing their entire life's savings and then ending their lives when they found out. Despicable.
What makes it even more despicable is how he tried to frame his brother, the guy who was nothing but nice to him.
And gave him a second chance, allowing him to move back into their home! If I did even half of this my African parents would use me as sacrifice to the gods 😅
My ears are plugged up with pollen and I swore you said "Grand Tomato"

He seems to make a lot of pronunciation errors in his videos, which is annoying for a channel with almost 2 million subscribers. He obviously has the resources and probably a team of at least a couple of people making these videos with him, and you'd think he'd check how to pronounce the name of a place he'd obviously never heard of before saying it so many times in a video. Whenever you're feeling down and think you're the most pathetic loser ever, just remember that no matter how tough or sad your life is right now, at least you're not THIS clown lmaooo
The brave man is the one whose dreams were shattered, married to a hideous woman, with children that are disappointing, and still, every day, go to that job he haytes, pays little, owns nothing but a ragged car, but doesn't unalive himself.
The two boys are the ages of my kids, and I'ma be real here: if my son blew the family fortune in such a manner? Don't know what I would do. I think I would consider myself a failure as a parent, and I would have lost the will to live.
That he could sit there, talking to the only living member of the family, and lie so shamelessly, is just mystifying. I feel for the lone brother; he lost every thing. And why? Because his brother is the worst simp of all time. ALL TIME.
You can teach him how human attraction works.
That's exactly right. No one likes to point out the way he was raised. It's a tragic ending to a lifetime of enabling. Babying children does not prepare them for responsibility and adulthood.
Well good news you ARE a failure as a parent my child hasn't committed murder so I'm a good parent is a pretty childish view on parenting i would not trust someone who called teaching optional learning
@VioletJoy You can be raised well but crumble to the uncontrollable factors of the outside world. He had the same childhood as his brother who turned out fine, he jsut wasn't able to perform at the same level and succumbed to it all, spiraling down a rabbit hole. It is easy to judge the parents, but the outside world especially with the internet now, is just too much of a black box.
I find it sad that people are dwelling on the simping. Selfishness runs rampant in the world and is wrecking lives on all levels of society. He wasn’t paying that woman because he wanted to help her, he was getting something that he wanted, and he wanted to be his brother, and he wanted money and he wanted, and he wanted, and he wanted. Most selfish people don’t kill their families, they just wreck them or abandon them.
No matter how many times I hear this story I can’t stomach this guy doing what he did to his brother who not only helped him out beyond belief but even bothered on enabling him. Him texting his gf he had to go home and deal with “stupid shit” shows how exhausted he was. A good job, good friends, good girlfriend; so much going for him. So tragic, so sad and so unnecessary.

I know right? I mean, he wasn't 12 😐
The respect and sensitivity you show in telling these stories are a powerful way to ensure the victims are remembered with dignity.
Keep up the great work Adrian, Australia loves you 🎉
“This unhinged and *balding* young man” I GAGGED ON MY WATER😭😭😭💀💀💀
It’s so sad to have a beautiful supportive family and callously hurt them in this manner. I have no parents now and that’s one thing I always longed for after I was abandoned. He showed no remorse whatsoever! 😡
Love paying for youtube premium only for the RUclipsr to shove the ad down my throat anyway. Thanks boss! Ill make to sure add Audible to a list of products I will stay far the hell away from for as long as time exists. Thanks for the tip!
I love that whenever your videos post I've just gotten myself a cup of coffee!!! Thank you so much for the compassion you show these victims and bringing awareness to their often heart wrenching story!!! U rock my friend!! Give Nero some love for me!!
New coffeehousecrime video, let's goooo! Thank you, Adrien!
Massively appreciate how many extra facts you found for this coverage - I knew this case pretty well but you added so much detail to it - amazing as always.
It's so weird how he was the only one that was bald, the father had hair and both the brothers had hair. What happened to him?🤔
What an awesome, supportive family, completely destroyed over an imaginary relationship 😢
I wouldn't call them supportive. They constantly enabled him, which set him up for failure.
Imaginary
@@VioletJoy Right? At that age, if I was fired from a job or didn't get hired for a job I applied for, the conversations over the next few days/weeks with my parents would be "how's the job hunt, how's the interviews?". Not "how's that gaming rig we bought working out?"
@@AntonioDavid-qu3zq The best thing we can do for our kids is to prepare them for adulthood. Otherwise, they just won't be prepared.
It was a family of imbeciles. They were babying their 30 year old son so that type of ending was expected.
Perfect timing for my morning commute. Thank you for always doing these videos with such care! Love you loads!
You're so welcome!
Thanks Adrian. I'd seen this one before but I always know you're going to give cases a fresh outlook and quality commentary. You really developed a strong sense of how miserable this addiction must have been and just how profoundly this family loved their addicted son.
Thanks for covering this one! I've been following it since it happened and love hearing all the different takes on it
Could've just went and married a mail order bride with that kind of money?
Sad. Grant had a hot family, then there was him. Bald at 20 & scrawny. No wonder he sought out online love. He felt inferior to them all for more than just their money
this guy's head is so elongated that he looks like a xenomorph (alien)
I recently found your channel, and I’m so happy I did. You have so much compassion when retelling these cases and always put the victims first. Cant wait to binge watch all your videos
Enjoy he's amazing❤
"Get ready for the deep dive" is so much more appealing than "caffeinate while we investigate." I mean, you've already done all the investigating. We're here for the deep dive. 🙂
I've watched every episode on RUclips, and you've really grown from video 1 and throughout all the rest of the videos. Great job! Keep up the brilliant work.
I agree to this one. The rhyme makes me cringe a bit. I really liked the deep dive one :'( 😢
But he doesn't do deep dive content so i think the caffeine comment is more realistic.
Doesn’t matter that I’ve seen so many videos about this case, if Adrian covers it I’m watching it! 😊
I've seen countless videos about this case, but it's good to see your spin on it. I haven't watched it yet, but I have no doubt it'll be as enjoyable as all of your other videos. Keep up the great work!
As a big sister, watching Jason trying to get Grant to confess and blaming himself for not protecting his family, is just so heartbreaking
Greetings from Chicago, Hope Mr Nero is doing well. Thanks for the videos Adrian, God bless you.
the saddest thing is Lady the horse has no best friend anymore :(
Heartbreaking…I wish we could get an update on it. I’m sure the mother would’ve wanted someone to care for Lady
What I love about your videos is, even if I've seen the story before, you still find new photos, info and video I have never seen about the cases. Thank you for your awesome research and enjoyable storytelling ❤
