This is a great option if you’re keeping the car for as long as possible. Resale tends to drop with modifications. With the full exhaust replacement you can save the old one for when you’re gonna sell, pop it back in and it’s all stock again.
I had a local guy make a custom mid pipe for mine, sounds awesome now, zero drone, pretty quiet at idle and cruising but gets drastically louder when your on it. Its also great because if I go to sell it I can just pop the old mid pipe back on. Also I don't know about a muffler delete but the stock mid pipe gets super restrictive in one spot. Now its 2.5" straight through, I got a very noticeable power bump with the new mid pipe.
If you guys have experienced it. I’m in CA and of course the laws and state ref is insane for exhaust modification. Valves vs Regular cat back exhaust, will it sound the same in eco mode? I’ve only seen reviews with people with a cat back and no valves say that they can barely hear the exhaust and would sound the same if they had valves. Any input would be great

Hey fellas, if someone wanted to do something exactly like this, but with a set of titanium mufflers (Vibrant), could those be welded on to stainless steel or would it have to be clamped?
Ya had a custom mid pipe made for mine, its very similar to the Apexi non resonated one though and it sounds great with basically Zero drone, cruising at highway speed you can't even hear the engine.

they don’t have Borla for the iS 500 so i didn’t wanna settle & i been driving with no mufflers for a year + no drone when u get one do wtF u want with it 🤷🏾♂️

LMAO! The invidia catback fits perfectly as I put one on my IS500 already. Sounds just like a Borla. You don’t hack up the exhaust on a 70k car when there’s plenty to just bolt on!

Horrible drone at 1800-2000 rpm
Ether drive 55mph or 80mph to avoid the drone
Best mod is Apexi mid pipe
