That's an amazing technique I've never seen before! It won't completely replace the traditional for me, but great for the small, hard to hit areas you mentioned!

Have you considered tinting the glue?...say with a brown colored dye so the base will look like a dirt color.
Nice. Great technique. Never used this type of product. Would like taller tufts and wondering if this would work. 🚂
