(Plugin creator here) I just watched the video. Thank you so much for this tutorial! Currently I am not maintaining the plugin since Obsidian adds to their roadmap. I will wait until that feature release to consider go back to code. Currently I am working into another one called ZettelFlow. Construction of workflows with just a canvas with ZettelKasten in mind
Until Obsidian gets this into the release, please keep maintaining it! We never know how long it will take for it to be implemented, so please continue keeping it updated until then.
I appreciate the conciseness of your overview - you provide a lot of helpful tips. Would love to see a comparison of DB Folder and Project plugins in Obsidian and use cases for each.
Obsidian newbie here, thank you so much for this video, really helped me a lot with understanding overall how this plugin works! But there's one thing I'm missing (it might be not related to the DB Folder plugin): how did make so that rows (your notes) in your database have their status and their type emojis before their filename? You didn't explicitly name them to have emojis, did you? Again, thanks for this and your other videos, you really inspired me to move to Obsidian!
It looks interesting. At the moment i am doing some of those things with MetaData Menu but not all of them. I wonder how the two plugins play together?
@@BryanJenks Those tags you use. The red and green icons that you use. On another topic, out of interest, I'm seeing you've a server rack in your office. Either you're deaf, or you've a marvellous noise cancelling rack there. I'd like to know what you are using :)
That's a great use case. I love the idea of using emojis/icons in the filter toolbar. Also, if you are interested in knowing all the various settings, field types, etc. I covered those over here: ruclips.net/video/lIuZAik1jPM/видео.html

Probably! It all just runs based on the YAML metadata
