You know some of the best videos are like the one you just uploaded. It’s a true reflection of the challenges you faced. This should leave everyone considering about a back up option that is easy to deploy. Great job
What an episode! Glad you made it back safely. Really shows that you have to think on your feet and stay cool and collected. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Great episode. I always take a pair of walkie-talkies onboard with me. It makes the communication in cases like picking up a mooring from the bow, anchoring in stronger winds or, such situations a whole lot easier. I also make sure if anyone goes away from the boat with the dinghy they take one with. They aren't expensive, but help a lot.
You had a great and very co-operative crew for such a hairy end to a charter week! Love the tidying up ropes comment. Lol that's kind of our signature thing, isnt it?! Even from our racing days. Gotta do your housework 🤩
:( my comment disappeared - strange thing, so once again thank you for this video - i've been waiting for this now for two days, glad you made it back und nice job!
That’s sports band sold with Apple Watch has no interest in being part of aquatic sports. Several times I have dived in and the band just pops off. Changed to a Velcro band for when I’m near water.
Awesome vid, showing the importance of problem solving and communication

Real nice family, and they organized well under solid leadership.
