  • having a bit of fun catching my favourite snapper baits, the all mighty Kahawai. typically known as the Australian Salmon back in Aus land. these fish a fun to catch and often jump out the water when hooked.

      Hey man this is at the refinery at marsden point. If you can figure out how to message me I can send you the location on google maps but basically bro you gotta park in the car park and walk to it about 3-6 minute walk depending on your pace

      @@RussBastion It’s all about timing there. 2 hours before low tide late evening for kahawai seems to work. And 2 hours either side of low tide for other fish like trevally and the odd snapper. For trevally try use a small float on a ledger rig and throw it as close to the wharf as you can but closer to the external corner not the internal corner where I am here if that makes sense

      Bro, they are just about the best bait there is for snapper. And if you catch one Kahawai you can usually catch half a dozen, so you take one for bait, the others for tucker.
