    It's a Pignut Hickory!
    The Pignut Hickory is native to the midwest United States so, to find one in NY is quite a surprise. They aren't rare here, but they aren't common either. There's always something special about stumbling upon a new tree you've never seen before.
    Watch along as I dig up this beautiful little guy and transplant him to the tree farm.
