Awe yeah. I would take Commando over this any day though lol. Just something about the execution of this one that didnt work out right. Thanks as always!
@@lukemorse1 I got to the guy I believe stage 4 in the drawbridge I couldn't get past him and the unfortunate thing with this game is when you hit game over it takes you back to a checkpoint and not the spot where you get killed.
The first beat em' up ever by CAPCOM. Not one of the best arcade games by the company but at least is interesting. It came out in 1987 and it was never ported to any home console at the time until the release of Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 for the PlayStation 2 and the original XBOX in 2006. Thumbs up Mr. Luke.
Not the best by any means but ....there are worse ones out there lol. Cool backstory about the game, I didnt know about the other releases so thanks Juan! hope you are doing well.
No problem Jeff! as long as you know where you can avoid large groups of enemies and you can dodge some of the boss attacks (unlike me in this video), you should be all set 😄
LOL, a punch em up for sure! I tried to get through what I could in a short time but yeah, a bit tricky with the controls. I didnt know this was on the Capcom collection, cool to know! Thanks as always man😁
HAHAHA! I know right. The enemies have bombs and weapons but here you are with just your bare hands trying to fight off zombies, ninjas, and psychos. That all being combined with punches that dont land and the slow, slow round house.
Capcom's Avengers, Earth's Top Down Beat 'em Up Hero! Too bad the hero doesn't seem to have anybody to Assemble with. At least there won't be any Copyright diaputes from Marvel. Also this game kinda looks like the unholy offspring of Gun Smoke and Final Fight... I would have said Double Dragon but that's not a Capcom license. And the music for the second stage kinda sounds like the "Stage Boss Fight" theme from the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on the NES 😊
@@lukemorse1 Man RUclips's Recommendations Algorithm was all over your old uploads man. As in 2009 old, videos I haven't even seen before, like the one where you were showing off your Blue Subaru RC Car, the McHotdog and the G-Dog videos and my new personal favorite, that Dumpster Diving one where you stroke gold with all of those consoles. It's my new favorite video of yours now because you really looked Dapper there 💪😎 I haven't seen those before now because I think I first subscribed to your channel around the 2010~2011 range. But I do remember the first few videos of yours I did saw when I first stumbled upon your channel and it's those short Famicom games gameplay videos of yours I first saw back in the day.
Always had a soft spot for this one even though it's probably not aged well in some people's estimates. I always get stuck a bit later on when there's some dude on a bridge who just blocks everything and kills you dead. Great vid Luke, it's super interesting to see these more random PCB playthroughs!
The game is neat and it I do like it as well. Some of the hits and blocking are a bit frustrating like you said though. I have a variety of these old boards that I will try to put up as time goes on but thanks for checking them out and glad this one brought back some memories!
I've got this pcb. It's a surprisingly fun game if u ignore the reviews of people who just need to learn to play. Its not harder than the average game once u learn the mechanics. Great video
Not one of the best arcade games by the company but at least is interesting. And is available on Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 for the PlayStation 2 and the original XBOX.
The illegitimate son of Commando and Yie Ar Kung-Fu.

I got to try this out on Capcom Arcade Cabinet on PS3.
Awesome, I didnt know this was on the PS3, good to know!

"The grass is green and the girls are pretty". The Zombies aren't pretty tho ☹
HAHA!! Nice! I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that. You are right about the Zombies... as well as the gameplay lol. 🧟♂🧟🧟♀
Only ever played this on a Capcom collection, seemed tough. Think you did well here Luke 👍
Would you define this as a punch-em up? ✌️
LOL, a punch em up for sure! I tried to get through what I could in a short time but yeah, a bit tricky with the controls. I didnt know this was on the Capcom collection, cool to know! Thanks as always man😁
This man seems very ill equipped to avenge someone with such a slow roundhouse and a punch that doesn't connect half the time.

Old Dead Rising.
But without zombies.

LOL! for sure Cahos. The super hero that ...didnt make the cut. Good observations there I can see what you mean with the music as well!

Any chance to have a full gameplay of this pcb? It would be useful for its emulation
Never seen this one before. Definitely not one of Capcom’s best efforts.

@@juanmartinstehle5047 agreed, least Capcom kind of tried something new with the viewpoint here ✌️
@@TheKayliedGamerChannel-RUclips Kind of like Commando but with your own fists.
Yeah, Capcom kind of missed the boat with this one but it is interesting to see. Not as well known to people due to the name I think.
