24:00 Models of teapots are used in animation to test shading etc. because they're simple to make and have lot of differerent angles to test on
As an ex-animator (a long time ago now) allow me to add to this: The Newell Teapot is a sort of in-joke amongst animators and 3D artists as every single of of us has had to make it at one point or another. It's our equivalent of writing the "Hello World" code in a script like C++ or Java. The reason it exists: It was one of the first 3D models ever created (we're talking 1975) that used Bezier curves (ie, curves and lengths derived from node points) rather than precise calculation, heavily reducing the load on graphical calculation within a GPU.
In modern days it is used specifically as a test piece to measure subtleties you normally wouldn't notice without multiple reference points, such as lighting direction, reflections, camera focus, etc. OpenGL and DirectX always used (or used to use) this model whenever you were playing around with graphics settings to give you an idea of the effects your changes made on a 3D model.

1:45: Nah. It was some drama where people thought Jax's character was changed compared to the pilot. But he was already like this. So you can like Jax. He's just an asshole.
I really don't get that drama the creator literally said multiple times that Jax was "definitely gonna get worse" and that "there's nothing heroic about Jax" and also that out of all the people stuck at the circus Jax is the most deserving of being stuck there, so I don't understand why people got mad when the creator did what she said she was gonna do from the start.
Jax has also always been excited about creating chaos, there wasnt much action for him to get into in the 1st episode especially since kaufmo was running loose. But in this episode there's trucks, guns, and potential violence. Of course he's gonna get more excited.
@SpiritOfSpite I think the main problem was in between the pilot and episode 2, people developed their own headcanon about Jax. When the official release didn't conform to their vision for his character, they claimed his character was "ruined". We saw this with Hazbin Hotel, too.

@@SpiritOfSpiteI’m just mad that their method of making Jax “worse” was removing every funny line and replacing it with bland blood-thirst for violence. He’s not the same character at all, and I hate how people are trying to gaslight others into believing he is.
He programmed the bandits to be more immersive, giving them backstories does that job and they were designed to be defeated and never make it back to camp.

It's shape contains a number of elements that make it ideal for the graphics experiments. it isround, contains saddle points, has a genus greater than zero because of the hole in the handle, can project a shadow on itself, and can be displayed accurately without a surface texture.
31:00 It's most likely a euphemism for getting drunk. You can't swear in the digital circus or smoke, if that scene with Bubble is any indication. So he probably can't say or talk about alcohol. Meaning him 'Drinking Water' is him doing something to get his mind off whatever happened in the past.

one thing to note that may help put things into perspective is that its a video game world, of which glitches n shit are extremely common and caine throws these levels together daily, so they are quite easy to cause bugs in
caine is also trying to make the ai as realistic as possible as such to make them more fun for the human characters to interact with to keep them sane, which may end up having the opposite effect in the future who knows

I would definitely like to see you watch Murder Drones, it's my favorite Glitch series. It's quite consistently good, but it only gets truly amazing starting with episode 5.

This episode had a nice little arc for Pomni. Starts with Pomni having a nightmare where she abstracts and is discarded causally by the circus denizens, has to help Gummigoo overcome his feeling like nothing, and ends with the funeral that shows that even if she does abstracts she won't be treated as nothing which comforts her. First episode was more setup and setting the tone. Going forward it;s going to be more character focused according to the creator.
Also if you look at Jax while Ragatha is telling Pomni about the funeral, you can see him being clearly conflicted about it. He's an asshole, but you can see there's more to him than just that.

The gummi gators' truck didn't get fired up into the air. When you go below the map's surface and look up, you'll see that the underside of the map is invisible, because the devs save memory by not rendering the side of something that you'll never see in the normal course of playing. So, when Pomni and Gummigoo fell under the map, they could see the truck and the sky above, making it look like the truck was catapulted into the sky.

As far as i understand, that's a reference to the very beginning of computer graphics. The very first object ever made in 3d was a teapot. You can even find a teapot as a default basic shape in 3d modelling programs.

I mean, Jax didn't go to the funeral but for a Moment you see His hard fassade crumble as they were talking about the funeral. Just for a second but it's there. He might be just playing the tough guy
If you watch meticulously, you can see that Jax is actually sad about Kaufmo's Death for a second when Ragatha ask him.

Plus, they’re just so many different theories that you have to watch a lot of of them. There was like even another theory about Jax that he was like AI. And then there was like another theory about gummy goo that he was like Cosmo in the first episode. But those are just more theories because of more people getting into it so deep, especially with like their theories and stuff. Like that too.

The tea pots under the map are a 3D program Easter egg: they're default models included in most 3D programs. Caine was likely using them to test lighting while designing the level. 🫖
For the explanation of the Teapots:
Most 3D modelling programs have some default meshes you can use to test stuff without having to model anything. For blender that's a monkey head and for 3ds Max that's a teapot.

To explain the Teapots, developers when making the map needed to test the lighting against textures at specific angles. The most common 3D model to be used to test is the Teapot model

Yeas please watch Murder Drones. The show is so well done. Its a mystery wraped in a cute dark comedy. You will be confused but thats the point. The lore is half what you see at face value and half small blink and you miss it moments
We know at the end of the episode 1 players can be "spoiled" into the Void... At the end, during the funeral, at the "vision" when Pomni fall but is saved by his friend, I think it's a premonition. And during this scene, we can only see three hands: Ragatha, Gangle & Zooble's hands but not Jax or Kinger's !
You can in fact see Kinger’s, he just doesn’t have arms so it’s really hard to that his hand comes down along with the others

Yeah, but then they were like different theories again plus I think this might have something to do with episode three already or at least another person like saying like when we’re gonna get episode 3+ people were saying like don’t trust raggath because of like different theories and there were different theories about the second episode two I even heard from like Brianna‘s channel like when she did like this kind of reaction about like she was saying that there were all kinds of different theories even that Jax is actually cane’s kid because that does not answer my other question. Where is JaxAlina like if they are going to? Add her in episode three and if not then that’s still totally cool because then maybe they’ll put her in like season three Maybe but you never know if my kind of questions though
PS maybe some of the theories they’ll add hopefully like in the fourth episode and also because like that’s where they got inspired to do something like the castle thing with the Mario and hopefully we even get to see sonic or like Mario in the future episodes too because then they probably I don’t even know what this kind of question though have to make Mario and sonic the Olympic games two because then this time, Mario and sonic would be on a team that would totally be cool and it would be like their teams with like smash Brothers that would totally be cool. That’s why they need to make these kinds of video games now just for the fun of it though like for the Nintendo switch.
