I personally think Vinted is best out of the 3. Depop I been on it for 4 months and sold nothing and Vinted I have sold over 300 items just since January 2023. EBay I have sold about 30 items. But definitely Vinted is the best for me I didn’t actually know that the fees where that high on Depop.
Depop customer services are terrible. Took them 2 weeks to even start sorting a tech problem at their end. I was selling loads them suddenly I started getting messages through from customers saying they couldn't buy any of my items. The Evri guy was coming to pick up 300 packages when I hadn't been able to make any sales. I ended up taking all my items off there. It's such a shame 😢
I've only ever tried Ebay and Depop. Depop I've found to be a pain as you get a lot of low ball offers as customers can send offers on every single item on your store. Depop I like as you dont get charged if your item doesn't sell. I don't boost on depop so the final price isn't too bad. There is a way to add your brand on depop if its not in there database. The first line in your description is your listings title, and i have found my items this way, so it does work. Never needed help from depop so cant comment on the process. Thanks for the video Sophie ❤
I used the bot last week on EBay through the seller help hub and typed in Can eBay call me please . They rang me back around 5 mins wait . I haven't used Depop for a quite a while . The 4 pics needs looking at whoever thought that idea up to use only 4 lol if you need to show a flaw your screwed that's few pics gone on that which is important to show buyer . I was thinking of setting up vinted giving it a try.
Thank you for the video. Very interesting Just started selling on Vinted . Do you know how to get more followers and how I can know which brand / item is selling more on Vinted Thank you x
To get more followers I would follow other people and use wardrobe spotlight. On the home page there is a popular items section. Use it as a vague guide only. It’s more the deal people want on vinted than anything else.
Etsy has always been hard to get sales on like depop before Etsy took it over. I do think depop has improved since take over as you can now send offers. Reseller world is a fast paced world and things change all of the time. X
I don’t actually auction anything. I always do buy it now. If you are using auction and you have expensive items I would definitely stick a reserve on though.

20% is starting to become a standard fee on most sites now

Depop is pretty unreliable. I’ve had more sales since you can send offers out. But it’s a very glitchy and buggy platform x
I do well on eBay. I am currently looking into Vinted. I've heard people keep their prices low.
So so helpful. Thank you
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

totally agree with that need more pictures on Depop
Depop are miles behind in terms of being a great platform.
1. No Help
2. Can't send out offers
3. Limited Number of Pictures
4. I feel very niche
@@westlancsflips Yeah agree with that i got fed up with it i used it for about 6 months haven't logged in for ages now .
Definitely give vinted a try Kevin
@@sbresellingco5795 Yeah for sure Sophie . :)

Im looking to start selling somewhere and this video has helped me a lot! Do you think that Etsy will be just as bad as Depop since they own it?

Hiya, just starting on Ebay. Do you ever use ‘Reserve price’ for an auction? If not why not? Thank you!!!

@@sbresellingco5795 Thanks so much ! :)
Great video! I’ve heard Vinted doesn’t allow resellers resell on their platform, do you know is it the case? Thanks
Hi Helen! No they don’t but if you’re quiet about it you’ll be ok x
@@sbresellingco5795 Thanks so much for your kind reply, but how do you keep it quiet? xx
