Hi! I am sooo happy to have run across this video of yours! I am 82 years young, new watercolor person, been discouraged lately & your video got me back to my painting area today. A big thank you i Love this method. I did the 1st one & am going to do the 2nd one after dinner. Love it & i am back thanks to you. I am letting my little girl inside PLAY once again! And this is coming from a perfectionist! I sooo needed this!😊
Love love this method. I am disabled-don’t have full functionality of my hands. So this will work for me!! You make me laugh, too, with your funny comments.
Hi Ellen! I love when you say I am going to destroy it and then that evil laugh! 😅. I love that you tell us to play that is why I love watching your videos. I hope one day I can be a patron but I am disabled and on a limited income. Love and Light to you!
Hello please pardon me for intruding into your privacy I just want to know if you are a fanHello please pardon me for intruding into your privacy I just want to know if you are a fan?
Yesterday you popped up on my feed……I watched your videos and made your abstract Christmas Cards…I was so pleased with my results. Thank you, thank you, thank you x
Emma, if you have a moment can you make some beginner friendly pretty shopfronts. I would like to learn how to do them, and I love the fun window displays and colourful doors
Lovin' those berries... gonna give it a whirl for this year's cards....I have about 32 to send ..so I guess I'll try and get one nice one done and have the rest printed 😉
I never really cared for loose paintings. I think, loose painting scared me. This would be a great transition to get your feet wet. You make it look so easy! Let's see...I have to try it.
You’re pretty fun to hang out with. I’m terrible at loose watercolor but I think I could do think. I’m going to try anyway. Thanks for showing us this.
I loved this video! It was like the adult version of what my six year old calls " just mixing colors". I'm so guilty of obsessing about every detail- I will be playing this video and trying this approach the next time I pull out my watercolors.
You are a messenger from heaven; you inspire me; you get me to believe in myself; the Manor that which you teach is simple and relaxing; please do more and more videos and believe that what you are doing is really appreciated; have a lovely day
I just rewatched this one from last year. I just couldn’t watch you destroy it then, but this year I absolutely LOVE the look of it! Can’t wait to get started on this year’s cards! ❤🌲
You know, you are absolutely right. It CAN be just that easy. Sometimes it is for me. The problem is, I am a person who must do everything the hard way lolol. But you are right.
“You don’t know what you like until you try them all.” So very, very true. I’ve yet to land on an exact style, lol. Some piece are precision and some loose. Depends on the day. Thank you for sharing Ellen. You always make me smile. Blessings to you!
Thanks sooo much, Ellen! I love that “ blurred” floral look and I’ve struggled with it. This technique makes way more sense to me than the others I’ve tried. I’m finally getting the results I want,
Ellen I love that you did this! The think i always loved about WC is the looseness and so many others say thst, but we mostly pant what we see! I am going to be doing much more of this playful painting! Thank you for this push!
@@ellencrimitrentI just found your channel, been enjoying listening to your tutorials of watercolor. Although I am not painting along with you yet, I find myself listening to your soothing voice while I am doing other crafting currently. Beautiful work, its so magical! Thank you for these! Lucky people who get to come to your workshops!
I loved the “destroying” part of painting along with you. When you said “isn’t this fun?” I said “yes!” I have always wanted to do the loose look and this was perfect to get that look.
I added a little Christmas sparkle to mine by adding one drop of silver acrylic craft paint to the water puddle I used to wash over the flowers and leaves. It is very subtle and makes a nice card.
I found this 3 days after Christmas and have so much fun watching this! Been trying to make a card for the holiday, gave up, and wish had found this sooner. I’ve been following you for months but holiday baking and cooking overwhelmed me. Thanks, Ellen, for making me want to try again to pick up my brush and have more fun. Have a happy New Year!
Oh Ellen. I just found you and I’m so happy I did. I’ve been doing acrylic fluid art for a year and a half and always loved watercolor. I’m so excited to get started. You’re such an amazing teacher. Thank you. ❤️. Xo

Usually don’t like homemade Christmas cards...but I love these.
You are crazy... and I love it! Thanks for pushing us out of our comfort zones.
This is definitely different, but I actually really like it! I'm liking the looser look. It's kind of peaceful. Thank you!!
Love the “ be jiggy with it❤️”
Ok I was in a major block and this just busted me out of it! Gonna go play!
