I didn't have a circular saw, so I used both a tree branch lopper and hedge trimmers to see which worked best to cut vinyl lattice. Both did the job quickly and easily. Sometimes you have to improvise and use what you have on hand.

If you reverse the blade on the skillsaw it will cut better without getting pieces of plastic in your face.
