The Gene Genie, at his best, I miss you, and your stunning, descriptions of your experiences from launch to landing on the moon, how you felt, What you discovered, and watching film of Jack Schmitt and of You Gene, was beautiful, funny, It seemed to me, that Apollo17, you were more relaxed in how you spoke, and reacted, not just NASA talk, but so expressive, the joy you felt, dancing on the moon, and singing, Also telling Houston "I feel just like a Kangaroo ", I'm not sure you actually had seen a kangaroo in person. but I thought that was sweet. Thanks for an Aussie reference! I'm an Aussie , I watched an interview of you in PERTH (western Australia), and you said you weren't sure where you were geographically,(in space), NASA. said your over WA. Western Australia, is mostly a small population, but you remember PERTH, lighting up there lights at night time, I am not sure if they deliberately lit up for you, I'd love to think so, and that's a typical Aussie thing to do. I've always wanted to be an astronaut, I love Mr Gene Genie, that you inspired young people to do what you want, no matter the profession, everyone's important. I love that about you. So you say you believe in a God, Hopefully you will see my message. I wished I had met you, Jack and you are bloody legends. cheers to you wherever you are. love from Australia.

Unfortunately, the consensus, is that the Apollo Astronauts were not expressive, Not poets or artists, But if you watch and listen to the Apollo moon launches and journey to the moon, and landing, they were absolutely expressive, and hilarious, enjoying the moon, jumping, dancing, singing, There is much to learn, if you listen to their recording's, and film, even mission control were in fits of laughter. The Late Al Bean, was a prolific painter, a brilliant artist, Mike Collins regret's the time when Apollo8 was Go for TLI trans lunar injection. His reply was NASA talk, "you are go for TLI" 'Roger go for TLI.vWith looking back to that moment, he said I wished I said something more, as it was the 1st time, people had left our gravitational pull, He said recently he would of said "the Moon is Yours", Love Mike Collins.
