Kasuga Taisha is a Shinto shrine located in Nara City in Japan. The shrine was established in 768 and reconstructed repeatedly over the centuries. Many picturesque stone lanterns lead up the shrine. "Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara" including this shrine are registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this area we can see many friendly deer which roams freely around. Deer are known to bow to visitors. Snacks are sold in many places, so we can give them to the deer.
