I think bane’s height is just about right. even the animated clip shows bane towering over Batman with bats just reaching with his fist
Height is perfect for me. But absence of ab crunch diaphragm, bicep swivel is really frustrating.
Yeah, it feels like a much older figure
I really wish they made the figures smaller like 6 inch scale and used the extra money to make extra hands and heads

But these pair up so well with Marvel Selects.

@@TwistedTom You might not and that’s a shame. If you were an 80s-90s kid, comic book heroes are just cartoon heroes and weren't segregated by brand. He-Man would be fighting Superman, Optimus Prime and the TMNT, and crossovers like Batman vs Predator wouldn't be a dream crossover, it would just be your imagination coming true.
@@mrdude88 i was born in 03 and i can tell you hulk was fighting against superman with booker t and yoda on his back🤣 but imo that doesn't look good on the shelf. i'd rather have them in comic poses against their counterparts
Looks awesome...finally we get a real worthy Bane figure ....don't collect many DC figures but this is going on my scouting list for sure !

There is a swivel where the arm bends, it is usually kind of stuck out of the box but if you just turn the lower part of the arm it will unlock and it is a stand in for a bicep swivel.
I got mine for $30 on sale, very happy!
Bane’s most important pose is breaking Batman’s back on his knee. He can do that pose decently.
I’m always happy with an oversized big guy. This is definitely 7” scale, but scales nicely with the 6” guys. I want my Bane BIG!
My primary gripe is the gray mask instead of white. I’m definitely painting mine.

Sad about the articulation problem, but I still want this figure. It’s been a bugger to find on figure shops online, but it’s the closest thing I’ve been able to find to a (semi-affordable) “classic” Bane.
Even with the lack of articulation, you did a good job posing him with wolverine. You da man!

Awesome figure but I missed it, However I did make sure to preorder the Mafex Bane. Since you're in Japan just wait and replace this guy with that if you feel that the Mafex is much better.

I like articulation when it's fitting to the characters, not all need crazy amounts of articulation, bane is fine I have a sh figuarts Broly nice articulation but won't stand for long. Bane is awesome, a must have.
He looks really great… but if he isn’t fun to pose and play with then i can see this loosing some points there. Time to look up a good babe to add to the collection
Can't agree more bud with the lack of posing though I've come to expect that with McFarland figs now. However the la k of a fisted hand really sucks 4 bane it would make his perfect look imo so much more sick 4 toy photography. Then with the size he's tall then the mega killer croc which is strange with size comparisons cause I feel that there is 2 tall. Though I do need 2 give Todd praise these last few yrs he's really helped me build my Batman roges 2 almost everyone. Wish he was doing tvc 4 star wars

I'm not a DC figure collector although that I admit the new Bane is size appropriate.
I always feel kind of happy when I see those beautifully sculptured statues of McFarland and I just suddenly realize let me watch Dave's review so he can talk me out of buying this immobile piece of c***. Well played sir, mission accomplished. Great vid that saved me 50 bucks. Appreciate it.

The height is about right. Hes a huge dude and the venom makes everything larger, including bone. Pre-venom he was 5'6" (my height lol) now he's 6'8" and the harder he juices he can get over 8ft tall

Idk what it is about a 7" line of figs but they are just so off putting to me not just McFarlane but a lot of Neca lines and super7 as well

I'm a huge Bean fan I like McFarlane Toys but I hate it that he doesn't put guns in the action figures it's all four another thing that gets me is he needs the suicide squad comic book version not movie

Ideally I would of wanted Bane to be the size of Mcfarlane’s Lobo, but built like a brickshit house like he is here, his size here is more akin to that of a Darkseid or Doomsday heck even a Mongul
Yeah bane belongs to the Latino people he's from Santa presca he speaks to Batman in Spanish. He calls him marcielago which means bat. Bane is ours Tom Hardy did an awful voice but I like his voice too we always play I always do the main voice on the microphone at work and the Arnold Schwarzenegger you guys have Captain Brayden and in the DC world you have gentleman ghost
It's all really starting to sound like you could possibly be swayed to the dark side now Dave. I LOVE my DC multiverse collection and I honestly think I have a Bane sized hole in said collection that I'm gonna have to fill next. This figure is BEAUTIFUL! That is 100% the Bane I know and McFarlane really made a gorgeous sculpt once again

Aw man I love that story! I would love to see figures for the tales from the dark multiverse: knightfall. Which if you havent read that one you need to. All the Tales from the Dark Multiverse stories are amazing. Anyway I would love to see the Knightfall collection when you do it
I really wished Bane came with a pair of fisted hands, But to me, He still looks badass because this Bane is way better the Collect and Connect Bane while looking classic like he appeared in the Knightfall comic, Also, The Year 2 Todd McFarlane designed Batman and Azrael aka Knightfall will work great to fight Bane.
And Tom Hardy on dark knight rises

Feel your score was too harsh. I give it a 7.5 My flaws are he is too big, should of had fist hands, also wish the mask was white, not grey.
Hmm interesting point with the mask. Maybe white would look better
This figure should have been so much better the paint apps are lacking, he kinda looks like a burn victim and a deluxe figure with no accessories is a crime also the pipes should be translucent.

5.5 of 10? Are you are crazy? The figure cost $40 bucks what else do you want? He can charge 60 for this figure. It is amazing how Mcfarlane can bring us for 40 bucks.

Bane is south American not Wish-Sean Connery. I hate Tom Hardy as Bane, too short, dumb voice, and no venom.
