So in the OG, this scene is like barely even highlighted. It’s never explicitly stated that Rude is hanging with a group for bald people. He’s just at a table with some bald NPCs, and you kind of just infer it’s a bald men support group or club.
I love that in Rebirth they not only bring it back, but lean in even farther to make it an entire spectacle.

They were fighting literal remnants of Jenova. Manifestations of Geostigma to revive Sepiroth. Of course they'd get absolutely bodied. They TRIED though! Even Denzel, a stigma afflicted child that can't do anything.. He charged at THE Bahamut in a moment of rage. He knew darn well he stood no chance, but he was so upset at the destruction.
I liked the writing in AC. That b0mb Helicopter scene on the bridge is legendary. They managed to take the 3 out. Only reason they survived long enough to sh00t cloud is because they shoved a million Materia Stones into their bodies. They passed right after they sh0t Cloud, too.
I was genuinely hoping Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz would make a comeback in the remake. :( Because Weiss came back! He was apart of a ps2 spinoff game for Vincent, Dirge Of Cerberus(I loved it).
I would have loved even a battle simulator fight against the 3. Then Kadaj could turn into sephiroth, and we'd have to fight Sephiroth. That'd be such a cool multi phase battle!!

It didn't ruin anything people are gatekeeping. 🙄😒 They're mad cloud got a semi-edgy early 2000s outfit. As if that wasn't the popular thing to do WITH LITERALLY EVERYTHING. It's not even that edgy. It's just black.. Plus it resembles his original outfit quite a bit more once he rips off the 1 sleeve.
AND THAT SWORD??? The coolest f**king thing ever. It's like 7 or 8 swords in 1. That's COOL AF!!
The ending where he does his limit break, but you see Zack's ghost "helping" him with some of the swords.. EPIC. AMAZING. 11/10!

HE'S TRAUMATIZED, DEPRESSED, AND LITERALLY DYING, SO OF COURSE HE'S GONNA BE LIKE THAT, BUT HE STILL DOES GENUINELY CARE, AND HE EVEN DID CRACK A JOKE AT VINCENT WHEN HE WAS GOING BACK WITH MARLENE, SO THERE'S STILL TRACES OF THE CLOUD THEY'RE FAMILIAR WITH! (Saying he'll "Phone in the verdict" which is funny because Vincent didn't have a phone, and Cloud lost his in the fight prior)

So I was talking to someone that I know and they said that they think the bald bar was actually in the original game it just wasn't super apparent because of bad translations that that's what's going on.
But you do find Rude in a bar and he says, "You, too? Take off your helmet," or something similar.
I saw this scene and the first thing I immediately did was look up Xeems' reaction.
I have waited for this moment all of Xenos career.
