they should split northern california and southern california into 2 states, its too big, too much variation in weather which makes it confusing for SoCal people when the headlines read "Bomb Cyclone to smash into California" and they get nothing

@Andy-vt7sl up North it's the real deal. Down where I live, Stanislaus County, it's a no deal. Stay safe up north. I do remember December 1964, Humboldt and Del Norte countries devastating floods. Bill
