Makes me think of my aunt who just passed away. She loved to collect pine cones. I have her little collection on my table. I wish I could do something like this to preserve the pinecones she collected in memory of her. I took care of her for a year and a half. She had dementia. She fell last February and broke her upper femur. She did not recover from the fall. Oh how I miss her. I am still grieving over her. So this reminds me of her. Beautiful bowl!!
Doug, absolutely love the colors with the pine cones. I love the bowl and think the small cracks gives it character. ❤😎 Your Florida friend. Love your videos!
I think it looks terrific. I love how wood and resin look so great together but turning resin is a challenge and messy. Hats off to your patience and skill. Well done.
Mama Mia! That is so freaking awesome! I love that you experimented with pinecones because they look gorgeous in this masterpiece you just created! Absolutely stunning! Bravo!
The bowl is beautiful! It was fun being in the workshop today! Getting resin on my face made me laugh! Whoever gets this will definitely enjoy the colors and shapes in the design. Have a great weekend!

Dougie, it’s gorgeous. I watched Rich live with the cones/silver/orange bowl. It was good. Couldn’t help but think that he poured too early and got mixing that he didn’t want. No matter, his bowl is lovely. Your bowl is super nice. Thanks for sharing it.
I would have to say "it's one of my favorites" love how the colors blended with the pine cones. Great job Doug, your to hard on yourself. Like Bob Ross would say "happy little accidents" 👍✌️
I know it's got cracks, but I've watched you do some pretty cool things with pinecones over the years, and this is one of the best. The cross sections with those colors really pop. Very nice 👍🏻
An artist has this issue in criticising his own work...I do it too...but it's up to others to see in it what they see....and guess what.....more often than not, they love it....💮💕💮..... Your colour combo won me over 😊
