You can also get to the sphinx from the misty marshes pretty easily if you mark its location on the map and just jump up the mountain following the compass to get another 2 portcrystals
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!Great video! Every other video, or article that I read about extra port crystals told you that after you complete the bow quest by teaching the elf, you get the portcrystal. You're the 1st to mention that you need to go back to vernworth to talk to him again to continue! So thanks for being so thorough!
I understand what they were trying to do, but this game is WAY too big to not have fast travel. Same with Witcher 3, Skyrim, and BG3 (to a lesser extent, but mainly because you can't sprint at all, haha. Although BG3 is definitely a gigantic game, as well.)
@@TcrrorIt does, you just have to be more strategic. This games much like a glass of wine that’s meant to be savored. Not slammed like a shot of vodka. I find the change refreshing. It has an old school, nostalgic feel. Almost like two worlds or something.
Pro tip: You can access the griffin nest on the south east outside the mist by climbing the area that looks like a rock slide. Youll just have to exit through the misty area or use a rift crystal.
@@glencunningham552 yes when you climb up and look down to the nest the Seeler Token in on the cliff to the left of you if i remember. I walked through the mist to the nest the first time and wanted to get both the crystal and the Token just to stand on the nest realizing the Token is unreachable
for ferrystones, i got several for free.. i had 15 by the time i was in my 30s... that elf in the first quest i believe gave me two (so far) and some other stuff... granted i think you also have to buy the house first ($20,000) but 2 ferrystones, and also not having to pay for the inn so it already payed for itself. certain enemies drop ferrystons.
Actually asking, is this game worth it?> I feel like in 2024 seeing a game that implies only fights on a field and grass isn't much, maybe its just me... Do you feel its worth the price?
In all honestly it's a very good game and well worth playing....However that being said it has some very evident issues the frame drop on consoles is very evident and at max it hits 30FPS and I've heard it has a lot of running issues on Pc if your unfortunate. also the fast travel system in my opinion is not ideal so expect a lot of running on foot. but on the flipside the combat and exploration is very good and you can spend a lot of time just finding new areas and loot... personally I would wait a while to get it to see if they remedy some issues with updates or grab it if it goes down a lil in price 👍
there is plenty of fights in caves, in desert, and even in town... so it's not just on field and grass. if you are unsure, try the first game, dragon's dogma: dark arisen.. if you look around you can probably get it much cheaper, it was $5 recently, very different map (entirely different "parallel universe" world) but similar gameplay.
Oh? You mean the blacksmith guy you encounter halfway through the game who sells you an infinite amount of portcrystals for 15 wyrm crystals you get from fighting drakes right? Or are you talking about the micro transactions that sell items that you can easily get yourself in game. 🤡
@@sofasupastargaming i actually went back to him today to get some ferrystones and yea it's only one, sorry for overreacting. However that doesn't exclude my point considering the total number you can get in game is actually 11( which is funny since you can only put down 10), so either way as long as you are questing and looking around you will be set.
I think the amount you can get in game is actually pretty decent as is the game itself.. it's just set up in a very weird way as it is in general such a late game or new game plus idea due to the ferrystones being so expensive I'm hoping going forward they drop the price of them as they have way to many quests that require you to backtrack to vernworth etc and then back to almost where you just were and new game plus has to have some kind of a difficulty scaling or additional features to keep people interested and grinding levels...otherwise everyone will just tear through it once and have nothing left to really do.

The bow quest is exactly why games need fast travel.
I 100% thought the exact same thing👍

Bonus ... there is a Seeker Token on the way
@@TalesStahl there is

@TalesStahl yeah that's the first way in that I found and found the token also as I was going around climbing everything in sight haha
