Great review. I have both this and the Magic-S Pro. I highly recommend getting the Magic-S Pro as it works with all the same systems as the NS plus the PS4.

Haha I just got done ordering this because I have a Neo Geo arcade stick Pro coming that I hope to use with my switch, but I'm unsure if it comes with the adapter they say it's supposed to. Plus I heard the linq adaptor is pretty bad. So grabbed this and decided to check out some reviews..... And here you are!!! Makes me feel like I made the right move already.

Give the same brand's arcade sticks a try too, the "regular" models come with fairly nice Sanwa clone hardware that can be easily upgraded to the real one or if you don't want to go the DYI upgrade way, the Elite models are 100% Sanwa.
... I had no idea Mayflash did arcade sticks :o You know what'd REALLY surprise me... Seimitsu in these things!
I know the older models (F101 for example) could use Seimitsu for the SNK feel or even Game Finger buttons if you like the silent type without a hitch, but I haven't seen anyone using them in the recent ones (F300 or F500) so even though I think there should not be any problem I can't be 100% sure.

I'm interested in getting this adapter to use the DualShock 4 on the PlayStation 3, would you be able to let me know if it's possible to use the motion controls, vibration and headphone input of the PlayStation 4 controller on the PlayStation 3 using this adapter? I have searched everywhere and, can't seem to find the answer I am looking for...

It might. I ordered them both at the same time- but oddly the 8bitdo from Amazon is taking it's time. Still not arrived after 3 weeks... What's going on!? Hmnnn!
I understand that this is an old review but I have a question. I'm trying to use my Xbox One controller on my PS3 but a couple of the buttons still aren't working, mainly the "Home" buttons as well as the right joystick. I've read over the manual and updated the firmware and still haven't been able to fix it, any idea what to do?
The home button doesn’t work on any non-ps3 controller on a ps3 as far as I know.
Would this allow someone to play switch using the arcade legends ultimate controls?
Does it work if I connect 2 players in the usb with a adapter for the ps4 controllers on the Nintendo switch?

I can’t seem to get my 8bitdo arcade sticks to work with my Taito Egret 2 mini.
I upgraded the firmware of the Magic NS to V1.33, and I thought it would work, as you had initially recommended. But I can’t get it to work. Switching modes doesn’t work, and whether on the P2 or P1 usb slots, nothing works.
Any help?

If this is connected to my PS3 and it's paired to a PS4 controller, could you use the PS button to bring up the menu? Because connecting the PS4 controller itself to the PS3, doesn't let this happen haha

yes! tried it today and it works. even games that don't support the dualshock 4 work (e.g. jak and daxter and sly)

Is the Mayflash adapter compatible with most of USB arcade sticks as the Gamesir C2?
We dont have that controller to test, but I reckon it'd have a good chance of working.

How do I use this with the egret II mini as you suggested it worked in that review? The LED won’t light up for me on it.
Try using a computer to change the mode to ... Yellow? Or was it white? - and then try again
@@TeamPandory that worked! Also updated firmware. But trying to plug in a replicade street fighter joystick knocked it back to the wrong setting somehow. Plugged it back into the computer and changed it to some version of white and it started working again. Thanks!

what's the best emulating console so far?
I had problem with this product. Ive left plugged to dock more than couple months and and few days ago it stopped working and neither lightsup led power signal. Im glad i have 8bitdo as staple item. Id ask if its fixeable?
Try reflashing the firmware. If you still have no luck, contact mayflash directly.

According to the Amazon page, you'd need the Magic S Pro for that. We don't have a PS4 or PS5 to check with this stick.

On what pad?
You may need to switch pad emulation input by holding down the switch to change color
Do I need to set the controller up on a certain pad?

Hi dude, i have an Easysmx 9013 xbox style wireless gamepad but the dongle is broken. Can i use this to connect my gamepad to pc?
It really depends on the gamepad. Usually, the "bluetooth compatible" pads work with no problem, but if it's a controller that has proprietary tech, it may run into issues.

Unsure. I think the new Xbox series X pads had some trouble regarding their firmware or something.

Do you mean with or without the Logitech USB adapter? If you plug in the logitech usb adapter into the mayflash, then it will convert it to any controller you like, but if you wanted to connect the controller to the Mayflash, then I doubt it will work

@@TeamPandory I got an Xbox one with Bluetooth. Set it to the red rapid blinking. Set the controller to pairing and it does not pair
@@jigglybiglets XBOX changed the firmware on their pads for bluetooth. Maybe wired connection would still work through them though? -
