How To Remove AND ReInstall 2022 Ford Maverick Door Handles

There is only a few videos and they don't share how to reinstall or how to do it properly to begin with. So hopefully this helps to save you from the pain of this style handle.

Thanks. This was very helpful. Just did a half wrap on a Maverick. Can't believe you're doing that in a she shed with wood floors. Nice, clean work. Change you're thumbnail so I can find the video again easier. I was looking for the wrap and got lucky and clicked on the right vid.

For whatever reason, you can only get body-colored door handles with anything but a Lariat with brown seats.
This is great.

Hey wrapper, wrapping here too. French and Im definitely not used to work on fords especially the new models and I wonder what kind of screwdriver u're using cuz i don't get it 😅 anyway helpful tho i'll look out for it
Edit : nvm what u guys call socket is a hexagonal 5mm screwdriver i just tried it. Lol nice one thank you so much !

Have you ever unscrewed the latch too far so that the mechanism pops back into the door? What did you do in that case?

using fishing line to make a loop (or any other kind of hook) to reach in and pull it back while resetting the screw usually works

Can you explain what you are looping the nylon around i have tried the metal fingers but no luck

It was helpful but what about if the claw closes I can’t figure out how to get the damn thing back open

I would try grabbing it with fishing line or a hook of some kind. And pulling it out while backing out the screw until it resets itself
