I just clicked on the video for the mullet lol
That Joe Dirt kid gotta damn leg.
Who would win a good soccer player goalie punting a football or a football player ?
It would really depend on what the test is for. Soccer goalies don't need to worry about hang time or kicking an odd shaped object, only accuracy and maybe distance. Still, it would be interesting to compare them side by side
I’ve played both at the collegiate and international level. Like Chester said the shape of the ball matters a lot. Keepers generally want as little hang time as possible (unless time wasting) because you’re still technically passing. You want to get the ball to your teammate in a way they can control it but faster than it takes for a defender to challenge them. Distance isn’t measured either. Usually you’re good if you can punt past the midfield circle from the top of the 18 because your strikers aren’t going to be sat much higher than that. The goalkeeper is going to be more accurate, especially hitting a moving target…but ONLY while using a soccer ball. Obviously you can’t kick both balls the same. An American football in my opinion is just harder to punt only because the shape demands you to drop it more carefully. When I’m goalkeeping I can drop kick the ball, toss it out to the side and come across it laterally, I can put back spin on the drop, go through the middle, etc. With a football you’re pretty limited in comparison.
tryna tell ya
