    Well, you managed to "bait" me into watching the entire video just because I saw Kohaku in the thumbnail. I'm not even into fighting games. I'm just a Fate fan.
    I didn't even realize this is such a small channel(200 subs and 100 views, wtf?). The quality of the video is very impressive for a channel like this, thank you YT recommendations.
    One thing I can agree with you is that Shiki Ryougi needs to be added. Best girl.

    Oh lol I didn't read the full title. I was hoping this would be about OG and not Type Lumina. This video's cool though, nice editing

    Crazy how this video is only like 7 months old and the game has evolved so much since then (And will probably evolve even more again really soon). Like 3/4 of the nerfs to shield you just threw out at 30:19 actually have happened which is pretty funny to me. Hope you're still enjoying the game curious to know if you are still enjoying it :)

      YEH!! I'm very happy with that big patch of changes a few months back. I am still enjoying the game I just have less time to play atm but Melty will always have my heart. ty for watching

    Really nice video, subscribed and looking forward to parts 2 and 3! Also, do you have names for the music tracks in this video? I know it says all music is by you but I've only found vocal tracks so far

    • @phonewifey
      @phonewifey  2 года назад +1

      Thank you so much! I really appreciate that.
      They're all unreleased instrumental tracks - if you're interested I might drop them on my patreon for subs. A little pack of BGM could be a fun bonus...

    1. I hope you work with your voice professionally in some capacity, this was sublimely pleasant to listen to.
    2. Really happy I stumbled upon this, it was precisely what I was looking for

    Ace video for people that like the vibes & could use an introduction to anime fighters as they aspire to entertaining proficiency. I just learned of Melty last month. I,m excited to begin playing Lumina &/or Under Night &/or that Touhou fighter, AoCF. I,m Mac only, and my mind can be a dysregulated turbine, more focused on music & adulting atm. What controller are you using? Thanks for the well-made vid.

      glad u like the video, I use a Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 arcade stick. would highly recommend if u need a fightstick. I got it 2nd hand off ebay from a guy who modded it to make the springback on the stick a bit more snappy so it's actually even tighter than buying new

    Lol, i think this is the first time i've seen the touhou fighters in a video essay.
    this video rocks tho, super high quality shit
    if u like broken stupid shit in fighting games look at Izanami in bbcf (assuming u haven't already), shes fucking nuts

    • @phonewifey
      @phonewifey  2 года назад +3

      I have bbcf but I've not played it much at all. Never played any Izanami but she looks INSANE. Will give her a try when I next boot the game up

    I was looking at this on Steam and I do appreciate this review a lot. I think I'll try Guilty Gear Strive first to acclimate to fighting games since my only experience was the story mode of Smash Bros Brawl at a friend's house, but this game still does look really damn cool.

    • @phonewifey
      @phonewifey  2 года назад

      hell yeh, GG Strive is really fun and there are LOADS of people playing online all the time so you'll always have someone near enough your skill level to play against. Melty is definitely more for the more hardcore anime fighter crowd but it's not impossible to find other players that are starting out or learning too

    3:18-3:40 NGL, I'm one of those jacka$$es who would answer with both when it comes to anime fighters in general lol.
