Thanks for a great vlog! I'm a Melbourne local, but have been living in London for the last year (heading home for Christmas!). Very much missing home, so was just looking for something to transport me back for a little while, and this absolutely did the trip. Also loved the chance to explore my beautiful city through the eyes of visitors! So glad you loved Melbourne.

Another great Australian programme📺, guys:A beaut! I also recognise, again, some of those Melbournian landmarks in your programme, such as the market💹 and the graffiti areas,as again I remember the Australian🇦🇺soap opera, Home And Away, filmed a few scenes in Melbourne, back in the year 2009- February or so. A character called Melody, in the soap opera at the time, slept rough on the streets🛣️🚘 with some homeless guy she met:They visited the market you went to, and they ran away from a group of guys, who were chasing them up that street🛣️ with the graffiti you mentioned. Also, some of their Melbournian aerial🚡 views included the 3 skyscrapers🌇🌆🏗️, and the river🏞️🌊- The Yarra,is that correct? However, they didn't include the cafes you saw. I also like the artwork of your thumbnail picture that came up,too!A very nice view of Melbourne. Great work, guys and sheilas.👍😀💯😄👏🙏

While the video doesn't focus on it, at 2:10, you can see the RMIT University City Campus on both sides of the street. I've been studying there for a few months now and I've walked down that particular footpath so many times over that period.

As a Melbournian, you didn’t visit the beautiful iconic South Melbourne Market! I think it’s heaps better than Vic Market. Saying that, Absolutely love Melbourne. Love each and every place you visited and showed us. Really loved this vlog!
As a Melbournian, I love taking staycations. I generally stay in the theatre district but often go for long walks to Royal Botanical Gardens or explore the solar system from St Kilda to Station Pier. It’s been an age since I went to the art gallery and library though, so maybe I’ll do them on my next vacay.

I enjoyed watching this video of Melbourne and others in your channel. Your camera work is outstanding, best in class! Would you recommend a hotel in CBD Melbourne?
@@cjexplores Sorry. Not just about your partner's derriere. I did like the vid. Someone was telling me that Melbourne CBD was dead. You showed it's just fine.
The graffiti is one of the best things I love about Melbourne. When it first started appearing around the city around the same time it started popping up around the world, the City fought it, and spent resources cleaning it off and laying criminal charges and all the things everyone else tried. And then one day someone said "theres a whole city block full of grey, old, ugly ex mercantile buildings, how about we set some basic rules regarding indecency, and tell them if they leave everywhere else alone they can come into the city and knock themselves out free of persecution. We might even throw in some decent paint'. And everyone else said "yeah, that makes sense" and today its one of the most vibrant and captivating parts of the whole city. Its essentially an urban art gallery, and it is absolutely crazy just how talented some of these artists are. If you ever have a few hours to kill in the CBD and no money, do yourself a favour. if you look at the works instead of just running your eyes over them, you could easily spend 2 or 3 hours there and not see the same thing twice.
I went to US and back in Brisbane, Australia. Aussie cities are so much better, cleaner and beautiful than US cities. Thanks for the video of beautiful Melbourne a winner of number 1 most livable city in the world for 7 consecutive years.

I’m from LA and maybe i’m complaining too much since overall it’s more expensive here especially since we have to pay an extra 9-12 % sales tax(depending on the specific jurisdiction within LA) on top of the price plus an extra 15-20% tip but comparing Melbourne to many cities in Europe, it seems like Melbourne is pretty pricy. Not offended at all . The word Graffiti has a negative connotation …that’s all .

Graffiti means vandalism, but street art is not.
In the states, we use both interchangeably..the diff if it's 'illegal' or not
Its graffiti, vandalism and degenerate.
