words like "adjustments" are preventing patients from getting better. It puts the responsibility in the therapist which is good for their pocket, rather than implementing effective self management in the patient. These gimmicks might feel nice, but physiologically they make no more difference than massage. A spinal "adjustment" will do hee-haw for your shins. Rehabiliation and correct load management are what gets the majority of musculoskeletal injuries better. In an athletic individual, start by reducing your training load by 50 percent. Assess your gait biomechanics and look for how your load is distributed in your lower limbs. You may require an orthotic as well as a loading program (though some argue orthotics place overload elsewhere on the body). Then work on flexibility and strengthening of your anterior shin and ankle muscles. I agree not to disregard the gluteal/hip muscles, as they are important lower limb stabilisers (biomechanically).
Overall, it will vary depending on what stage your shin splints are at. The earlier the identification and management, the better!

There are a few factors in natural remedies for shin splints. One plan I discovered that succeeds in merging these is the Remedy fixer blueprint (google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible guide that I have ever heard of. Check out all the interesting info .

Ya ok genius. Obviously cheap crappy shoes aren't going to help but you can buy the most expensive shoe you want , sized perfectly and still get shin splints.

Dr. is treating the patient with his(patient's) shoe on!!
Moreover holding the dirty shoe!! How unhygienic..
