Would love to see victron release a variety of batery BMS that integrate into VRM so diy battery builders can build there own battery systems . Just like a jk inverter bms with active balancer but victrons own version . If they did this they would own the whole market and a lot of us could afford to build our own stuff then just get on in life without trying to adapt different brands that aren't really reliable talking to each other . Im praying victron please 🙏
@@BluePowerPro yes exactly 👍 but it has to have active balancing not passive balancing . Active balancing seams to balance batteries better when top balancing at a set voltage in absorption . This is for lifepo4 systems but I've had great success with lead acid in the same way.
@@BluePowerPro Does not have to be proprietary. It will be much better if the BMS is commuity driven. JK BMS is really famous and keep getting better. But to have an european quality product with same or more functions could be a good alternative. You might want to check Andi's videos about the JK BMS and the DIY 48V boxes. They match perfect with Victron Inverters. So they do with the announces new HS19. @OffGridGarageAusstralia Andi uses Victron Inverters too
@@marcschneider7338 Ok so, I watched his videos. I'm not experienced at installing custom BMS, so just help me to understand the requirement of this. 1. JK is obviously an Asian brand, so you are asking for a higher quality version that Victron is known for? 2. What are you referring to by "community driven" as its not open source from my understanding, as Andi had to send feedback to them and they make the changes, meaning closed source. 3. Then in terms of functionality, what are the limitations of the JK, that requires Victron to make something similar? 4. If they already started implementation of Victron 8 months ago (according to Andi's his video) what more could Victron provide that it doesn't already? Thanks :)
I am a big fan of Victron myself. You all can see that on my channel😅 But what I at Victron still miss is an all-in-one device for compact solutions like the 3-phase hybrid inverters from Deye with 15, 20 or 25 kW output. The powerful 3-phase hybrid inverters from Deye, Growatt and Co. are currently selling like crazy and almost all users are completely satisfied with them. And that is exactly the reason why Victron devices are currently getting cheaper and cheaper. Since they have no alternative to offer in this sector, they can only make the products currently on offer cheaper in order to keep them selling well🤷🏼♂️ Best wishes from Germany - the country with the most expensive electricity prices in the world😉😅
I think Australia are also up there in prices! Well, yes and no. I've spoken to many distributors who hate Deye. Reason being that its an all in one and in China, so if even the one thing breaks you have to remove and send back the entire unit at your own cost, which for these heavy products, costs a lot of shipping fees. This can take 2-3 months for them to return a new one due to delays at docks or stock sitting on ships. At which point the customer blames the distributor for the bad service. To not harm their reputations, the distributor then usually replaces the customer's inverter, out of their own pockets, while they wait for Deye to send back a new unit, and sometimes they dont even do that. Thereby losing money. A major purchasing decision for me was the modularity that Victron offers. If a Cerbo malfunctions, i can easily get another or get a RMA and be back up and running in no time. It is good that Victron are entering both the all-in-one market, as well as the high voltage in one go - as well as making it server rack compatible. Plus we know that this will be a quality product. I actually filmed a sale conference of a fairly unknown brand (well to me at least) called felicity ESS, who were also at the show this week. I will upload their videos shortly, as they are definitely a strong Deye competitor with many local warehouses to avoid the delayed returns.
@@BluePowerPro Hybrid inverters are not so heavy, they may have all the flaws of the world but certainly not the weight...multiplus II 15KVA is about +80KG, a three phases hybrid 25KVA would weigh the half...plus Victorn already have hybrid inverters, just not enough powerful and single phase. To charge decently faster an EV you need 11KW tre phases and in the mean time don't need to turn the rest of the house off...
I wish Victron would extend the one form factor of stand-alone Inverters upward in wattage capability. Right now they are like 250, 375, 500, 800, and 1200 watts. They should have a 1500 watt one. I wouldn't be opposed to a 2,000 watt one either.
Lol well the Cerbo is a bit small to be a full 1U rack. I just stick mine where i want it using Velcro. The RS19 and HS19 have the cerbo built in so I guess that eliminates the problem anyway.
@@BluePowerPro A product can never be too small to go into a rack. The component will just be less deep. There are server rack components that only have 1-2 inches of depth into the rack. If they are smart they make a component like that so it can integrate with existing battery banks of other brands. Maybe a Cerbo/smart shunt combination. The Cerbo has already proven itself to be useful stand alone for other applications like tank systems ect. So it's not that weird at all.
Ascolta ma io ho un caricabatteria collegato a uno smartfon che nn funziona e non riesco a configurarlo con il nuovo smartfon.esiste una soluzione? Grazie della risposta un saluto.
Not much info about it yet, as its unreleased, but they mentioned some info here www.victronenergy.com/blog/2024/06/14/intersolar-europe-june-19th-21st/
Very good products but still miss a "big" (20/25KVA) 3 phases inverter without the need to purchase three separates inverters that requires more money, more space, more software configurations, more cables. Second, a powerwall wich can be paralleled and native for Victron, there are more than enough of "mysterius" chinese brands! C'mon Victron, only you still lack of this products!

Interesting, so you mean something like PACE BMS, (used as a generic BMS in many battery brands), but instead a proprietary Victron one?

I swear a lot of these products already exist in the UK?
Yes of course, its not a whole new range, just the new high voltage rackmount inverter/solar models.
Wow. Victron is finally catching up to what the rest of the industry has been doing for years.
High voltage yes, rack mount no. What other brand has a rack mount inverter?
@@BluePowerPro that's fair. Rack Mount is novel. But the all in one aspect is long overdue from Victron.
Will there be a 120VAC easysolar II ?
No idea, but if they haven't made one yet, its probably unlikely.
Where can I readup on the new RS19?

Aggiungo che parlavo di un caricabatteria per la barca 15 amp
Can't anyone speak?
No, lost my tongue
