Even though I found the replacement glass, quotes to install were freom $75 to $150! I owe you big-time! Thanks so much for taking the time to post this, particularly for those of us hit really hard by the current economy! Savings fed my family for a week!
This was a very informative video. I did watch part one as well and appreciate them. I'm about to attempt my 1st glass install and had to do some research.
Great video! I've seen some installs when they first put a rubber seal on the rim of the cab before installing the glass with the adhesive. What's your take on that? Thanks.
could you please tell me how to go about removing a back glass on a 98 gmc sierra c 1500? this is one from the junk yard and i sure don't want to break it. thanks for making your video.
This is the correct video you have commented on. There's also video where I'm sitting in the back of a black pickup truck putting in a slider that will be helpful too
Dear Sir, I have obtained my replacement window from the junk yard. I have seen places that carry window glass sealant for less than 10 bucks. would you please tell me your take on this. And how many tubes that go in the caulk gun will it take to do my 98 GMC Sierra pickup? Thank you for your video and time.
Unfortunately it is not typically because you can't get the old window apart without breaking it but also my parts are custom sized and made for my specific style of installation.
Do you HAVE to leave some of the old urethane from the original glass? Also is it mandatory to use the urethane primer?? Need to know because it's not available where i am... can't find it anywhere...
BradAutoGlass do you still sell a kit with the proper tools and primer to replace the back 1 piece glass of a 92 chevy silverado 2 door extra cab with a 3 piece slider?

We do not thank you for your question
@@autoglassamerica I don't understand
@@autoglassamerica I wanted to know if the kit he talks about in this video is still available. What's wrong with that?
No we do not have this kit any longer.
What name adhesive?
It doesn't matter it just needs to be automotive urethane
thank you !!!!!
what type of tape do you use?
Blue painters tape
Just wondeting, can i use plexiglass?
No. DOT regulations require tempered safely glass for all automotive glass.
Why didn't you Urathane the truck instead of the glass?
It's actually easier to apply to the glass and also has a better look from the interior once finished
thanks for the response
Mate get a Hamer and bang it in.🌟👍🏆✌
