Yes its nice isn't it? I like dior quint as well. I don't have many but I like the wearable ones! It's a great summer palette!
These are both gorgeous! I think I’m leaning toward Rafia more. I love a good bronze look. Love the lighting today btw!
I think those with deeper skintones than mine would also enjoy wild raffia more. It has a little but more dimension. Both create this effortless every day look.
Hey Sonia! I think Wild Raffia is lovely. I haven't bought any Dior palettes. But am tempted now. I think Wild Raffia is far more friendly to dark skin. Nude dress, as you note, is just very light. Both look pretty on you!
Dior eyeshadow imo has a very particular customer base coz you won't find a celestial shade or an astral or anything. Most of these shadows are sophisticated glimmer or metallic. I agree that wild raffia would look better on darker skintones. They are pricey palettes but he palettes from the core line are definitely worth checking out. The limited edition palettes have a reputation of being hit and miss.

Omg my favorite nude Combo. It's Charlotte tilbury Lip Cheat in Foxy Brown and Charlotte tilbury Cover star lipstick. Lip Gloss I used this time is Victoria beckham beauty Bikini but it also works with the Westman Atelier Nana lip Balm.

Silk earth looks so autumn like! The one I am eyeing is poncho. More gold warm with brown tones.🥰🥰🥰🥰
@@sonia.butler i was torn between Poncho and Mitzah. I bought the latter because it looked more "special" but now I regret it a bit. it's beautiful but I would've used Poncho much more 😣
@@abbyl1449 luckily poncho is part of the core line and we are able to get it still. Let's hope there is a good sale soon. These palettes are pricey. I get why you wanted mitzah though. It's such a pretty palette.
Both very nice, understated and perfect for the unadventurous (me!). Quite different in tone; I see one as day or night, summer or winter. Hmmm …. I only have Dior perfume so far, but I could use both of these!!
Yes they are soooo understated and I imagine not everyone likes this look. But for me its perfect for everyday or a office palette. Sophisticated shimmer, No celestial shades just metallic with a glimmer. I think those with deeper skintones than mine would prefer wild raffia. Nude dress is very Light.

Oh my word the quint with the green in it for fall is yelling at me to buy it. I can see why you want to hold out. Also these quitns are part of the main line so there is less pressure to buy. They should be around for many sales to come!
With the endless Limited Edition Quints Dior has released recently, it would be a relief to finally have one that is part of the regular line. I heard that another will be coming called Silk Earth but not sure of its status. Dior has announced its Autumn (Fall) Collection which includes two Quints, Mirror, Mirror and Reflections but I'm yet to find out whether these are Limited Edition too. If you know anything more, I'd love to know what to expect.🇦🇺💖🕊
Silk Earth is available in my area. I am unsure why they didn't launch this everywhere. I genuinely wonder if people want to see a review.
Mirror mirror has my name on it! Looks so nice. I know it comes out on the 5th of august and it doenst say its limited edition but I am assuming it is. Usually the non LE ones don't have a design on them.
I enjoy reviewing quintd part of the core line coz if its gone..... then I hate loving on a product no one can get.
@@sonia.butler Thanks so much for this information. Just so I've got this right, Silk Earth and Wild Rafia are part of the regular line? I gathered the same when I saw the Autumn release Quints that had the design on the shadow, that they're bound to be limited. They're killing me with all these Limited Edition releases! If you don't mind me asking, where are you situated? I've written to Dior in Australia asking if we're going to be getting these and will wait and see. We totally missed Popeline and Organza last year which very much upset me as I dearly wanted those softer shade palettes. Whilst everyone had their Velvet Quints for ages, ours only appeared on the Dior website last week! Patient is a virtue as they say.💖
@@krisushi1 I am from the Netherlands! And I totally understand about launches not coming to my region. Some launch only in France and Italy. It can be so exhausting! I also get frustrated with dior Limited Edition palettes.
I buy my Dior from the Dior website in the Netherlands and neither Silk Earth or Wild Raffia is listed as limited edition. I double checked for you. ❤️
@@sonia.butler Thanks so much for that! I only hope that all of these come to Australia. I'm not one to collect the Quints but there has been some beauties this year. I was only planing to get two Velvet Quints but I liked the formula so much that I added another. I loved both Riviera and Bayadère plus there was the release of the Backstage Eye Palette in Coral Neutrals which I do collect. There's been some gorgeous releases which is why I'd like them. To think I had thought I'd gone overboard at Christmas! I sure hope it calms down for the rest of this year. Just so we have a chance of buying things from their regular line. The cost of those Velvet Quints were outrageous at AUD$121.00 (€81.13)! Honestly, that's way overboard. Thanks again for checking on those palettes for me and I can only hope they do finally make it here.💖🕊
@@krisushi1 so nice to meet a Dior fan! Since last year I am trying out Dior a but more. I loved their lippies but the Prices of the eyeshadow palettes were so expensive I never understood the beauty of them. Such nice soft looks. I might look into buying more for review. I hope they cool down a bit as well with their launches because
