    I have Stora Dolls, Soft Cashmere and Brun et Rose, so I think you saved me some $$. This was really helpful, thank you!

      Same! I have all those, plus the new CDP driftwood. I am on an eyeshadow fast for the rest of the year. Though this quad does look really stunning on Sophia…

      Same! I also have TF nude dip and metallust and the old neutral chanel 9 pan palette 😅 I love these brown color stories and keep buying more even though on the eyes they all look the same.

      Which one would you recommend, I have Stora Dolls and Soft Cashmere in my card and I am really struggling to choose 😔

      Stora Dolls is more for everyday. I think Soft Cashmere is better for nightime. It's more dramatic. Hopefully that helps!@@zornitsastefanova9373

    This is exactly what I was hoping for, a slightly more brown and less grey version of soft cashmere. 🤩

    Sofia, thank you so much for this review and demo! I have been debating getting this palette because of Dior's reformulation and already having the old formula of soft cashmere and nude dress. I love that you film in natural light and provide swatch comparisons to other eyeshadows in your collection. I know I can always trust your opinion as well!🙂

    YASSS I have been debating for so long between Nude Dip, Soft Cashmere and Stora Dolls and I'm so glad I waited because this one looks perfect with the browner base and options for shimmer levels and depth. I'd also totally missed that they released this so thank you for reviewing! Great review and content as always 🔥

    i like this color story more than soft cashmere as well. i know that one is iconic but it always seemed too greige for my skintone so this seems more suitable! i felt that way about nude dip as well.. a little cool for me, womp womp!
    seeing ND’s glam against these palettes often makes me wonder if that’s still the better investment since the pans are removable 😝
    safe travels home!! x

    Thank you for the review, Sofia!! I think it looks absolutely beautiful on your eyes 😍 which makes me want to buy it even more! I have all the comparison palettes you showed here and it is so similar to many of them, I really don't need it 😅 If it's permanent then I'll try to wait for it to pop up on other retailers here in the UK and try to get a discount on it 😊

    I am so glad I waited for review! I was also nervous to try it, I haven’t touched any of the reformulation quints yet. I think I may pick this up, I do like that it’s a more everyday soft cashmere, I like the browner base.

    😂Now I want this!! I actually don't like the ashy dark brown in the Soft Cashmere and I always found the shimmers too cool grey for my liking. They just don't look every day neutral on me... This one looks much prettier

    How can I confirm if i am purchasing the reformulated vs original Dior 5 pan pallete, wrt to soft cashmere?

    • @elizabethh9591
      @elizabethh9591 11 месяцев назад +1

      On the palette itself, if there is a CD on the lid where it closes, it is reformulated. If it has a straight edge, no CD logo where it opens/closes, it is the original. (as in the CD logo looks like a button to open/close the palette but it's not) - hope that helps.

    The name is triggering me a little because it reminds me of my favourite Dior perfume the Grand Bal which has been discontinued! 🥹 Other than that, the colour story looks great😊

    • @AliseL22
      @AliseL22 11 месяцев назад +2

      Triggering most often refers to a "traumatic" event and really wish people would use it correctly and not overuse it. For people who have gone through assault/sexual assault/war/childhood abuse it is a serious matter. Just something to think about and will help you sound more thoughtful. 🦋
