- How to make Premium Knife Sheath from PVC. Cheaper than Kydex.
This sheath is very durable, shock and water resistance.
The smell smoke from burning PVC is toxic, Make sure to do this in open space and Always wear a respirator while burning that pvc.
You can apply Spray Acrylic Clear Coating inside the sheath. But better if put primer 1st.

Very cool sheath sweet knife as well .what pipe did you use schedule 40 or sdr 35? also have you ever tried using abs ?
i dont realy know what pipe is this. just pick it up for free at scrap yard. but the diameter was 5-6inch and 2-3mm thickness.

Abs is similar to PVC used for drains only its black so no need for coloring the edges and it's a little less dense than the pvc
Looks great, what blade are you using on 4" angle grinder, it seems to cut very smooth without jerking or grabbing work piece

its very durable and can suvive high impact. but make sure to pick the thick pvc. the best is atleast 3mm

well that was impressive and very interesting ! It's amazing how this cheap material can make a nice sheath. I'm not fan of using a pen to blacken screws and edges, I'm sure you can find a better way to make these things black !

What type pvc? For better result, try using thick pvc. Or 3inch diameter.
