~SPOILERS FOR STEVEN UNIVERSE FUTURE~
Tbh, this is actually almost accurate. In Steven Universe Future, Pink Pearl stated that Pink Diamond was throwing a tantrum and screamed so loud it cracked walls (and maybe the floor too). The problem was, Pink Pearl was too near. And so, her eye was damaged.

Wow, came here after Volleyball... Who knew your story was somewhat accurate? You got that Pink's tantrum was the reason behind the cracked eye, and that was actually the case in the real show.
Probably, kind of, definitely what might've transpired back in the days. The last episode's hints speak too loudly.

Even though one of the members of the crewuniverse confirmed that Crystal gem pearl was made for Pink Diamond I don't believe it. As why would Pink Diamond pearl have her gem on her forehead? As we seen with Blue and Yellow pearl their gems are on their chest like Yellow and Blue diamonds does. You would think PD pearl would have her gem on her naval like Pink does. You would also think that White Diamonds pearl would have her gem on her forehead like her. Most likely it is cannon that Pink and White switched pearls.
The detail in this is incredibly done

It's kind of canon. It's been confirmed by recent episoddes that white pearl used to be pink pearl, and is being mind controlled by White diamond. It was also confimred in a panel that white diamond was abusive to her pearls

Pink diamond shattered her pearls eye by treating her with emotions, pink pearl couldn’t handle as she functioned like a robot. White diamond than mind-controlled what we now call “white pearl” and hands her , her pearl who is more superior, she can handle emotions unlike the previous pink pearl
In the new episode “familiar” pearl even saids to Steven, “ stop it you”ll break her” she refers to yellow pearl , this is becuase Steven asked a lot of questions

I LOVE THE ANIMATION, THE MUSIC, AND THE CAMERA ANGLES (I love the shot at 1:40 SO MUCH)!!! The only thing is that you can't shatter a gem by smacking them in the fact, you have to actually aim for the gem.

Pink Diamond's first appearence she acted more demanding and childish, but in A single pale Rose she was more cautious. I love the idea that she accidentally cracked her first pearl and because of that she became a better diamond and was more gentle with her new pearl. I don't think the headcanon is true... but i totally wish it was! :D Awesome job!

Speaking of pink pearl’s cracked eye, I have my own origin. It involves a semi-OC: black diamond.
Black diamond had her gem in her right eye, but her pearl had her gem on her spine (like lapis). But one day, she pulled her gem out. She shrieked in pain for hours, but placed the gem on her spine eventually, leaving a eye with no pupil, iris or white part. Just black, and cracks were left around it. But one day, a little pink pearl came out of her eye, with an eye completely missing, with the same scars and cracks all over. Black diamond gave it to blue, who then handed it to pink, as blue already had a pearl.
Today, black diamond and her pearl hide away, on one of her colonized planets, because she had a corrupt side that she had to hide, because she didn’t want to hurt anybody.
So kids, never take your gem out, or you’ll get a pearl

Eh... I don’t think that she would do that. It kinda seems a bit too much out of character.
Here’s my theory/thoughts:
The Pearls that belong to the Diamonds tend reflect to reflect the latter’s personalities in ways, right? So that means Pink Pearl was like Pink Diamond. Not exactly the most... MATURE helper, let’s say. So White Diamond decides to give Pink her Pearl, and White got Pink’s Pearl. But then- White realized that the former Pink Pearl wasn’t going to cut it. So she abused her for a while, finally deciding to brainwash the Pearl and mind control her.

My theory on what happened!:(great job on this vid btw, I love it 🥰)
Pink diamond continued to play pranks and pull tricks on the other diamonds and(just as Blue said in one of Stevens dreams) White diamond took always Pink pearl. White diamond bleached(that’s what I call it when White does her thing) Pink pearl into White pearl which damaged her form. White diamond then gave Pink diamond her old pearl(our Pearl) to watch over her and hopefully keep her out of trouble. The reason why our Pearl didn’t crack when she was bleached was because our Pearl was already white so not much really had to be changed.
Hopefully that makes sense ^^’

So... PD's pearl must had functioned well or maybe WD was pretty mad at PP. So she cracked her left eye instead of her gem on her belly.
Then PD was pretty upset, so WD gave her pearl as keeping PD's pearl but controlled by WD. I guess how
WD got blinded is maybe there was a lot of light or maybe she wanted to be as common as WP. That was after WD gave PD her pearl. Pearl was really suppose to make
PD/RQ happy so she won't think about her old pearl. (spoilers) sorry if I didn't say it right.
